1967 I was 10 Years Old! my First Visit to the Tropicana with My Famous Gambler Uncle who lived in Las Vegas since the 50s took me back with him from New York my first visit to Las Vegas, I remember him opening the door to the Follies Bergere Showroom and Giving me a Peek !! & then took me to the Coffee Shop for an a Delicious Ice Cream Soda & Burger ! Fond Memory that I will always Treasure along with many others including Flying in Over the Strip at Night for the First Time and seeing Elvis at the International 1969 3rd Dinner Show as guests of Kirk Kerkorian Loved the Old Las Vegas

I definitely have heard of Mark Loizeaux and Controlled Demolition Incorporated from a documentary known as Blowdown that was filmed for the implosion of the Frontier back in 2008. CDI has a solid reputation in taking down large structures, not just Las Vegas, but all over North America.

I saw one of the Riviera buildings go down. The dust cloud was so big that you could not see the building fall. Those are real high explosives and they are LOUD. A video cannot come close to how loud those explosives are.

I was just across the street at Excalibur and watched these guys preparing, they worked every day with temperatures in the 100s. New baseball stadium. Just around the corner a new stadium for football stadium.
