+Viktor Šima-Juriček I wouldn't even say he was the best guitarist in After the Burial. I know I'm gonna get hate for that, and I love ATB and Justin was an excellent guitarist, and his death was a terrible tragedy which brought me and many others to tears, but I just find it annoying how when people die prematurely they're suddenly regarded as gods at whatever they did. You see it all the time with musicians and sportsmen in particular.
God's Honest truth, I remember back in 2nd grade, Justin and me hung out together during recess, we seen who could (hand drum ) the fastest, even went to each other's birthday parties, then life happens, I went to different schools, yada ya, then I heard of the tradgety, and I'm so sorry for the loss this band had, had no Idea this was Justin's baby, Now I'm gonna crank this stuff up, and remember Justin Lowe. R.I.P dude!!!!!
Holy fuck everything about this is perfect...the guitar(s) and bass tone, the drums, how tight the timing is, the rhythms...you can't NOT headbang to this! RIP Justin Lowe, thank you for helping to give the world this and other sick tracks!
Late to the party but i totally agree with you. I became aware of them after “evergreen” and they became in my top three bands and now i have listened to them nonstop for about 6 weeks now and i think they are my favorite. There just isnt another band out there quite like them. Right before covid i almost traveled a few hundred miles to see them but decided not to. I will see them soon in person
This song brings back a sad memories for me as I was 2 days away from seeing them live when I found out about Justin, I then put this on repeat and it upset me a lot, so I can't help but feel sad when I hear this song and see Justin's face 😞
This song and Lost In The Static are two of the best songs, and to date there hasn't been one inkling of either song getting old. Damn I love these jams. This album is one of the best gems to uncover.
I would include Aspiration and Cursing the akhenaten. I remember when i got my hands on this album in 2008 end of highscool, not knowing what the F i was going to hear ! haha
I whole heartedly believe dime would be blown away by justins unique writing. Anyone who doesnt think that the beginning of laurentian ghosts isnt one of the most beautiful things a human has wrote. Has no soul.
I tabbed this song for everyone... 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Justin, thank you for all you have done for us. You will forever be an inspiration to all. We all love and miss you, continue all aspirations in Valhalla. Continue to DESTROY!!!!!!
Omertahun I seriously doubt they were counting it. Bands practice their songs constantly, and they build up ridiculous muscle memory. Counting would interfere with that. I think they were just locking into the drum groove and making sure they stayed in time.
Huh, pretty easy actually, amiright for those wondering first two times(where "/" is an open note, and every number is number of notes played in a row) - 1/ 4 2 3/4 2 3/4 2 3/4 2 3/4 2 3/3/4 and for last two it gets much more complicated - 1/ 4 2 3/4 2 3/4 2 2 2 3/4 2 3/4 2 3/4 2 2 2 4 2 3/4 2 2 2 5 2
Mike Watson I actually figured it out after sitting down for hours. Now it's one of my favorite patterns to play. If i really wanted to i could sit and play it for hours it's become second nature after practicing it so much.
THE RIFF IS SO FUCKING EPIC! INSANE! MATHEMATIC! DRY... I ALWAYS PLAY THIS SONG FOR RUNNING MARATHONS, IT´S LIKE AN ADRENALINE SHOT MEN! Great legacy Mr. Lowe!
In this Video I cant stop seeing Crowley (Supernatural) as the singer! Damn The King of the demon is singing on stage) .''R.I.P. Justin we already miss you...those who respect this genre''
Those timing patterns are fucking epic! Djent at its finest! Lyrics we all can live by, separate your self from societies sickness. Cell phone games, TV's, Facebook, how many hours of distractions do we give into in a day?
for someone who can learn this song in only 25 mins i would of assumed you had some videos of you playing guitar nope just a few of you playing fucking rock band on ps3 stupid lame fuck
I respect that it may seem impossible to you. That is certainly what I might think if I weren't a musician. But truly, it isn't very complicated or difficult at all. The band themselves have even acknowledged (in an interview) that this song was a bit of an experiment in rhythm. So it's fine that you don't understand the people saying this is an easy song, but the reality is that it is extremely easy to play for even an beginner level guitarist. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it's super heavy and fun to listen to. Hope you enjoyed it.
Aah, I was wondering if we were ever to see this footage. Still want to see the footage of Bezerker they made that day, that pit was absolutely mental.
He seemed to have a psychotic break of some sort, left a big statement about leaving the band, lots of conspiracy theories and such, went missing several times over a few days and was later found dead, unfortunately. A tragic story for anyone, let alone a seriously talented musician and from what I've heard from people that knew him, an absolute gentleman and funny guy to be around.
Its not about the notes. Its about the rythym and the feel. This song makes me feel invincible. Wicked song.
Shit, well said 💪😤
Its not about the notes but its about the way they stream the string.
shit yeah
Rhythm is the pattern of notes and rests
Well said indeed!
Bassist straight up looks like a giant from Skyrim.
That's all I can see now when I look at him. XD
Or badass drouger lol
Dude IS a giant.
I'm 6 foot 5 and he's 2 inches taller than I am!
Lee is the shit! Down to earth, chill dude.
NoCleanVocals down to Earth? He's pretty far from Earth being that tall. XD
Please don't yell at me but i haven't heard this band before, so im here to pay respects to the late guitarist
Raed Alamili He was one of the most forward-thinking musicians I have ever listened to.
rip just tune low

Viktor Šima-Juriček Yep I agree with all of that. :)
Raed Alamili met him once in Iowa City shared a drink and musical thoughts. He was nice and down to earth. we will miss his talent.
That groove at the end is beyond sick.
Virus940 yeah dude it’s fuckin nuts. If you haven’t seen that shit live it doesn’t even compare to seeing them shred ass live
Very sad story. RIP Justin Lowe.
RIP Justin Lowe
Holy fuck everything about this is perfect...the guitar(s) and bass tone, the drums, how tight the timing is, the rhythms...you can't NOT headbang to this!
RIP Justin Lowe, thank you for helping to give the world this and other sick tracks!

Joecoolman26 its a djent stick
Just listened to it on two jl12's and its thick and that tone pops boyeee. Good shit
R.I.P. Justin... Truly tragical death. :') It fucked up my day...
Nick Myers Even though it's not about me, seeing the words "RIP Justin" freaks me out a bit.
Justin Potesta :D LOL....
This band is on a TOTALLY different level than any other band I've heard. 😭😭😭😭😭 so good it makes me cry lol

Justin looked so happy up there on stage damn... RIP dude.
This song brings back a sad memories for me as I was 2 days away from seeing them live when I found out about Justin, I then put this on repeat and it upset me a lot, so I can't help but feel sad when I hear this song and see Justin's face 😞

Would be neat to hear the real audio instead of a studio overdub. Still though, nicely shot at least.
It wouldn't be coherent with the venue ambience and sort of pointless re mixing and mastering something that was done already.
It's the songs' music video, why would they use a live recording for the video?
Best music for meditation.
Nobody on this earth is quite like ATB. Fuckin groovin tune. As cool as this song is to listen to - I couldn't imagine playing it.
love that outtro
Will always be a huge ATB fan. IMO this song is like dimebag picking up an 8 string 🤘
I whole heartedly believe dime would be blown away by justins unique writing. Anyone who doesnt think that the beginning of laurentian ghosts isnt one of the most beautiful things a human has wrote. Has no soul.

Ah my bad
you aren't funny
Djent Cat The guy called Djent cat is telling people they aren't funny? So ironic.
Come back to me when you see the irony. I don't feel the need to explain it.
was soo good having you guys down with us at Euroblast in 2012! Viva la ATB see you soon down in Australia.
Sick! Very well put together, nice footage.
Justin, thank you for all you have done for us. You will forever be an inspiration to all. We all love and miss you, continue all aspirations in Valhalla. Continue to DESTROY!!!!!!
Never listened to this band until I heard this song Sirius XM.... this is insane!
I've seen a ton of live shows and I can confidently say that these dudes put on one of the very best I've see on the black dahlia tour
The pattern at 4:00 is fucking ridiculous.
And even in this video - you can see them counting :D
I mean staring at a point in the air, lips are slightly moving

I've never heard of this band until i saw a bunch of posts about justin. I love this band now lol
Just a non generic RIP comment drifting by to say that their bassist looks badass.
that song gave me chills through the whole damn thing!
Damn this brings me back to my spin kicking days.
The combination of your comment and your profile pick is pure gold.
I was there. Still so much in my head...
Makes me so sad. His playing and writing will always live on. RIP Justin.
These guys put on one hell of a show
RIP mon ami.
Juice!!! You are truly missed! RIP

After the Burial rules! I discovered them about a month ago and can't get enough of them!
RIP King Lowe
an awesome happening at euroblast 2012! awesome video, and awesome song! come back this year please!
I liked the part where he played that one note.
In this Video I cant stop seeing Crowley (Supernatural) as the singer! Damn The King of the demon is singing on stage) .''R.I.P. Justin we already miss you...those who respect this genre''

So much power energy and skill, my face was indeed melted, genius of epic proportions A+
My dudes! You guys killed it in Cleveland!
Rhythmic genius, they nail it every time they play it live too. My tiny ass brain can't get it right when I try to play it lul.
the final is so magical ! 😍 thanks after the burial 😘
I don't get people saying that this song is easy.
Remembering that fucking pattern after 4:00 seems fucking impossible
Right!!! its when they switch it up at 4:14 I cant even follow that pattern with my mouth guitar. lol
Force It took me a solid 3 months to learn it lol Definitely not easy.
***** your a liar only 25 mins shut the fuck up and troll some where else
for someone who can learn this song in only 25 mins i would of assumed you had some videos of you playing guitar nope just a few of you playing fucking rock band on ps3 stupid lame fuck

Ah god it hurts my heart to see Justin at work and not having him here anymore! We miss you buddy!
i love the camera on the head of the guitar when justin headbands at 1:42.. RIP my nigga.
That was amazing video editting of this song. Excellent job
rawest song on the new album, sick video
Aah, I was wondering if we were ever to see this footage. Still want to see the footage of Bezerker they made that day, that pit was absolutely mental.
yyyeeaaahhh! makes me want to start a circle pit ..or rip a truck in half or something!!
To anyone who shits on this song (and I happen to actually really like this song) I suggest you listen to the rest of the album. Its fuckin sweet.
rest in peace, Justin.
Damn ATBs bassist is huge! :O I bet he is over 2 meters tall!
Soooooo good!!!! I'm seeing them on Friday in Il!
hell yeah, bout time a band rocks out for a solid amount of time on a bad ass closing riff. its simple but still jams at 4:00
Omg, I'm stunned by this.
This song is so amazing. I really love it. But why most modern live videos are cut so fast-paced!? Makes me crazy watching it!
The filming is good and all, but I'm just getting tired of music videos with just live footage. What happened to the good old days?
The vocal is fucking impressive!
AAAAAAAAAHHHHH those polyrythmic beats!!!!!!!!
RIP Justin, you'll be sorely missed x
absolut masterpiece
amazing
You guys were great in munich!!!
I love every single note in this song.
And now I´m seeing here in this comments that Justin Lowe is no more :´-(
That´s so sad...

lovin the groovy djent, is so sick!!!
Sweet video...reminds me of the ragnarok video from Periphery.... although I think Misha and co. moved around a little more for their go pros...
The screams make this song so much more interesting than it should be :D
First time hearing this song, man i fucking love rhythm driven guitars and this song is sick af
