I just read the Wonder Woman 1 last night and it was so much better than the Sensation Comics 1940s ones I started with. Amazing how far it's all come from artwork to story and dialogue
Man I wish there were flea markets like this in my part of Canada. USA has way way more flea markets and I'd love that! Don't have weekly ones here, and when we do have them, like big ones, it's only like 2 times a year. Its pitiful lol
Yeah I got lucky being near so many, but at the same time we have very few garage sales here and our facebook marketplace stuff isn't very good. You just got to make the best of whatever is around.
Hey Flip, do the Nintendo DS work in Europe also or do we need a different charger and games for it? Would love to have 2 for my kids so of you find more let me know.
Advs of Brisco County Jr is a fun watch... Bruce did another period piece comedy tv show called Jack of All Trades which is just as funny...both are in my collection
A store called McKays about an hour from me. I go there once a week and know exactly what kind of movies they want so always pick them up out in the wild specifically for taking them there. But that's the key to it all that I wish I would have explained better in the video...only buy movies you have an outlet for, that you know you can sell.
Those DVD's that are worth $6 ish, what's the point even picking them up? After the eBay fee and shipping costs you would hardly even recoup the $1 right ?
I like your videos. Many of the comics you are picking up are good reading, but will probably not fetch more than a few cents if you trade them into a comic book store. The market for comics is almost entirely centered around key issues or “keys”…the first appearances of major or minor characters. This is where almost all of the value lies. I would familiarize yourself with the big Bronze Age and modern keys from the past 50 years or so. Those are the comics you are likely to find in the wild at a flea market these days.
Ah I gotcha, yeah that takes a lot of education to know what's worth picking up and what isn't. I've been studying up to learn as much as I can. And I started collecting and reading them daily. It's mostly stuff from about late 80s to 2010s that I come across, and usually a dollar a piece. I've always heard though that with comic flipping you need to get them for like 10 cents a piece to expect any sort of worthwhile profit.
@@FlippityFlip Be careful with late 80’s to mid-90’s comics this was during the so called “boom” and subsequent crash in the collectors market. Many comics from this period were overproduced ( X-men 1 , many early Image titles, and the death of Superman storyline for example,) and not worth your time or money…even at $1. Get to know the covers of the biggest modern keys ( 1st Deadpool, 1st Harley Quinn, 1st Miles Morales Spider-man.) If you find one of theses, it is a real diamond in the rough. 99.9% of comics are only good reading material.
You're spitting out a lot of false information about those games and DVD's, bro. You should learn your craft better before "educate" folks. You are overusing "rare" like crazy too.
I'll try to stop throwing around the word "rare" so much, uncommon is a better word. But it's all subjective and difficult to know when to apply it or not. I don't think any of the information about the dvds is inaccurate. I look through piles and piles, thousands of dvds every single week, other than books, it's mostly what I sell. So I have a good idea of what to look for and how much I can get out of them. But I'll admit there may be some inaccurate information, maybe I'm wrong about certain things, I may be misspeaking. I do this all in one take, so not going to be perfect. People need to educate themselves on the details. These videos are simply a general guide.
I do believe some are rare and i dont have a problem with it, for some its rare for others it uncommon dont make that big of a deal about it, its a learn and progress.
Just found ur channel. I was a reseller when covid hit. Not so much now. But, I heard u say u lived in hickory NC. I live in Lexington not far from u. Do u have a website u sell on? Or just eBay? Anyways I’m always looking for vintage gi joes from the early to mid 80’s
