I had the experience to see Dwight with my mom before she died it was her last concert. Then many years later i seen him in Asheville a couple months ago. Great just as i remembered him. Thanks for the music Dwight brings me back home.

That was one serious country music jam, and it's a crying shame that Dwight Yoakam and lead guitarist Pete Anderson went their separate ways. Anderson made his Fender Telecaster jump up and sing. Still, I'm glad Dwight Yoakam is still singing. Check out his rendition of "Purple Rain". No other country music artist can pull that off.

After I saw Dwight last week in concert, I bought this album ("Dwight Live") on eBay for 6 bucks. I had it on tape when it came out... it is one bad-a** live album!! It's hard to pick a favorite on it; the whole CD is just that good, from "Little Sister" to his excellent version of "Suspicious Minds" at the end! And he can still move those hips and legs at 65!
