  • Larry Mazza came through for his first-ever VladTV interview where he detailed how he got involved and later joined the Colombo crime family after meeting Gregory Scarpa, known as the "Grim Reaper" in the mob. During the conversation, Larry shared stories of hunting down enemies with Greg during the Colombo family war, including Larry taking down his personal enemy, Nicky Black. Larry also shared the moment when he realized Greg Scarpa was an informant, and deciding to cooperate with the feds for information against Scarpa. Larry went on to explain that he feared the FBI more than the mob after leaving prison, and he detailed working on and appearing in "The Irishman" alongside Robert DeNiro. To hear more, including his reaction to VladTV guests calling the film "inaccurate," hit the above clip.

@@grinchgouda5534 Assuming Vlad does it intentionally, and he’s really just shamelessly steering the interview back in his desired direction, it doesn’t change the fact that many people wish he would stop using the “strategies” he uses to ignore other interesting places the interview could go. I agree with them too, because he could honestly make everyone happy by addressing different aspects of the subject and their story. When the opportunity presents itself, he could spend a moment exploring something “deeper” about where the interview goes, then easily go back to his desired direction without even losing the opportunity to do so. Ironically, if he’s such a great interviewer, he’d immediately recognize like I did, that Larry is excited to share everything about his story, I mean he makes it so obvious. So if he had noticed that he would’ve been able to walk away from this interview with WAY MORE parts to then turn into interesting clips for TH-cam, which he always wants to do because it gets him more views, and more money. So while you may be right, there’s still more to suggest Vlad just isn’t very good, otherwise he wouldn’t be blowing away this opportunity to make even more money, which is always his #1 priority. Like someone already said, he’s successful because of the people he gets to talk to in the first place. If there’s one thing you can say about Vlad, he’s very resourceful and has a talent for getting these people to talk in the first place.

Considering the life he lead and the things he did, he comes across very likeable and most of all he doesn't play down the part he played. The part where he talks about the hit where he was in the car, had his shotgun 6 inches from that guys head and blew the other side out... I was just like wow, that's real intense. His eyes glazed over a few times when telling his story, must still sit deep even if in some cases he feels it was a kill or be killed situation. I'm tempted to check out his book.

@@juiicex2 Which "OK" can't you stand? he has about 20 different ok's that mean totally different things. Most of which are very Patronizing. It's his little way to comment on what they said. I think it's unprofessional as an interviewer and if he worked for anyone except himself they would say something. I'm waiting for someone to react to it and call him out during the interview. But he would probably cut it.
