@@hankwilliams2569 for interview purposes and for vlad TV, it brings in the views to play that. Also in most successful killers deceptions. But it serves well to tell the story, because he cant lie on Vlad TV! If you know any killers, a false sense of vulnerability is how victims are pulled in. but he's old now, so all he has left is the honesty. The "accidental" or Just plain "emotional" killers are the ones that dont have those traits as a cover. So there is everything to use that as a display. This is like my 3rd time watching this interview in its entirety. This is one of my favorite Vlad interviews. I love mob stories. Been a fan since a kid.
I gotta say this interview won me over. When he was asked what he thought about the people that were outraged he only got 5 years and his response was “ I don’t give a flying F@&c, what would you do on your little computer “ that’s real.

I've heard just about everything in this interview already on multiple platforms, and I can say that the one thing that I noticed is that none of his stories have changed one bit any time I've heard them. This tells me that (whether you think he's right or wrong for what he did) he's being honest when he speaks
You’re just knew here . His story on his first Murder changed . Joe colucci. When he told the story back in the 90s Joe never wanted to kill Sammy but Sammy added that to his story to justify killing his innocent friend. He admits later he was tricked . Now it’s a new story
@@Kevin-ii7gy you are absolutely right about that. And I honestly wasn't really thinking in that direction when I posted this. So firstly I stand corrected. That said, I was talking more about the Gotti tapes and the "Chess game" that Gotti and he were playing (which he ultimately cheated to win, but make no mistake, he did win if graded on a scale of self preservation over pride) more times than not lately, I have honestly found myself trying to like Sammy and or at least try to "forgive him on a curb" by playing devil's advocate with his "reasons" but it pretty much always ends there because of my moral compass. I do however believe his other stories are truthful. Very possibly told in a way to favor himself and his agenda but truthful and consistent over 30 years. Lastly... I think you were going for "your just NEW here." (not knew here) PS... I'm pretty sure that your going to edit that right now... but you and know what's going on 😉
You're simply incorrect. If you read his book from the 1990s or watch the Diane Sawyer interview you will notice that things have changed and all of them changed to make Sammy look better

Great interview he was completely honest about everything.. I think you can’t look at the same hearing the real stories from his mouth versus what has been said about him.
Paid his dues? He was involved in 19 murders, including the killing of a 16 year-old boy.... he was granted release from prison in exchange for his testimony against La Cosa Nostra... he blows it by getting caught selling drugs... he's back out and now making money off of these murders... and you think he's "paid his dues"?
I like how Sammy said 'fuck the money' several times throughout the interview and referring to several different situations. It's refreshing to see someone that still believes some things are more important than money.
Yea of course it’s fuck the money he kame from money he kame from millions before the MOB THATS WHY ITS SO SICKENING EVERYBODY THANKS THIS IS GOOD I REFUSE TO HEAR IT HE IS THE REASON NYC WENT TO SHIT IF YOU KNOW U KNOW KARRY ON GANGSTER U TOOK DOWN THE REAL MOB AND BEEN ON PC AND THE FEDERAL WITNESS PROTECTION PRESIDENT IN THE PEN AND STILL ITS SO SHOCKING THAT YOU KAN SAY THIS IS WHAT REAL LOOK LIKE ICE MAN WAS REAL GOTTI WAS REAL THIS IS A JOKE TO CLEAR HIS FUCKED UP CONSCIOUS I SAID WHAT I SAID NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYONE BUT THE RAT!!!!
It really is something when someone recounts a true story especially a murder. The small details and the ammount of them really paint a picture. The rolling down of the windows. The way his hand slid on the blood on the seat. The smell of the gun powder. How he felt afterwards. It's better than the best author could do because it's the truth.
Watch his testimony in front of the senate from the early 90s. This MF is sharp as they come and you know, YOU know this is not the MF you would want to fuck with, in the old days.
The best mafia book and history education you could ever read is "I heard you paint houses" by Charles Brandt. I read it in the can last month. Great book. Really tells you how the Mafia started and gained all their power. And YES they did kill JFK. It's all described in detail in this book. You can't compare movies to books. Books are sooooo much more informative and detailed. If you read that book your Mafia IQ will skyrocket

Sammy ratted out dozens of his former friends went to Arizona delt drugs with young people got caught by a tap on his phone thief murderer drug dealer snitch Sammy's life in a nutshell
Sammy's a liar on so maney levels John Gotti from a legal point of view could not have threw Sammy under the bus seeing how Gotti got caught on tape admitting to his own crimes and what about his friends he ratted on and the oath he took and dealing drugs with young people in Arizona after getting caught on a tapped phone not to mention the seventh year old he killed
He is as genuine a man as I'll ever know. Each time he talks about a life he took; he inhales a deep breath and sighs.. it looks like he carries the weight of their souls on his back and inside his own body.
You can tell he’s old school and he still takes a lot of pride in what he was apart of, he looked annoyed when vlad had things confused “it wasn’t a crew, it was the family”💯
He’s still a mass murderer. If he killed my family member, he’d be wishing he was still undercover. They literally him get away with murder for testifying against someone they hated more.
One of the best interviews Vlad has ever done, hands-down. I’m glad that after everything he’s able to be free and have the opportunity to tell his story .
I love this guy.. anyone who has him doesn't understand the man he is or the fact that Gotti threw him to the wolves by ranking and raving about murders Sammy did on wiretap. That shit was unforgivable a real boss would never ever mention a murder after it had been done.
This was an amazing piece👏🏽 Sammy is very articulate and descriptive. I know he kept a lot to himself. You'll never be able to tell EVERYTHING... even if you wanted to but this 2hr and 19mins hit the spot. I especially loved the end when he said, "If you wanna be like me, be like me but just know where your life will end up." This gangster lifestyle is intriguing and a lot of times glamorous but how it ends makes it all NOT worth it🎯
It is interesting on a certain level. Until you realize you are looking/listening to a sick old man who raped and murdered and stole his way through life and shows no remorse. And still out walking around and bragging about it.
I grew up in NYC and worked in a club in the early eighties and so guys like this, make no mistake his code of ethics is real in terms of soldiers killing soldiers in the MOB. That said, it's hard to disagree with some of his logic and in the end I think he may have been a better boss than Gotti.
History has proven that Gotti's reign was disastrous. Even aside from bringing a ton of heat on everyone in that life because of his narcissism and big mouth, he put his son and older brother in charge of the Gambino family for many years who were both utter disasters as well. Remember, Gotti could've been given a life sentence for his crimes as boss, that would have been that, but his big mouth on all those tapes is what turned Sammy into an informant who put close to 40 guys away in prison in other cases, including testifying against Gigante who was the longtime boss of the Genovese family. Gotti did enormous damage to that life so obviously Sammy would have been a much more competent boss considering the FBI had thousands of hours of secretly recorded tapes on Sammy, but they didn't have one shred of evidence since Sammy did what he was supposed to do and kept his mouth shut.
There is no way he wouldn't of been a better boss he's smart cold calculated.. he's fucking almost 77 and look how strong he still is and sharp John gotti would be a wash up compared to Sammy as the boss
Just thinking about the things this person did that he will never talk about sends shivers down my spine. Can you imagine looking this man in the eyes in your final moments of life?
@@Yojsucj It would be in his best interest to admit every single little thing. Everything he admitted to are the only things that are covered in that 5 year sentence. So if he were to leave a murder off, Gotti or somebody else could have come out and sold him down the river on the murder and he would have got 25 more years.
Right. He always balks at anything in the questions that makes him out as a coward murdering loser. Make no mistake. We can only scratch the surface of his evil.
Despite alot of bad things Sammy is 1 of the last from that era and way of life back in the day.Just knowing the historical figures he knew so personally especially Gotti is legendary in itself. Most like me cannot fathom the things this man has seen and experienced.Always look forward to hearing his stories

Great interview with a mafia survivor….told with bold truth….Sammy the bull a legend
a legend For killing people? Making little children grow up without a father. Yea that sound legendary! to me
@@preciousakpona7835 well what you here for,.,.he is a legend an your just a termite eating my wood

I've watched alot of vald interviews by far one of the best interviews a very interesting guy & lifestyle. (The story continues)
Watch Sammy's podcast it's on TH-cam it's called "our thing" he has 5 seasons on TH-cam I highly recommend it. Crazy ass stories
Lol Sammy mad this interview great not Vlad
This man is a great story teller. Maybe because he lived it but also because of his ability to tell it
Yeah. He can DEFINITELY tell it.
Never trust wiseguys, always on the Hussle
@@FrankC71 and always turning around and ratting on one another it would seem. Most people these days want attaboy points for not snitching.

This was an absolute %100 , two thumbs up interview. Neither side interrupted the other , it was with complete clearness. 👍👍👍
I grew up in NYC and worked in a club in the early eighties and so guys like this, make no mistake his code of ethics is real in terms of soldiers killing soldiers in the MOB. That said, it's hard to disagree with some of his logic and in the end I think he may have been a better boss than Gotti.
Gotti was a horrible boss, so that’s not saying much.
Let's put it this way, Sammy would not just kill the innocent. He won't go out and just thrill kill like gangs of other races would do.
@@jamesgretsch4894 so what did Greg scarpo do?
Just thinking about the things this person did that he will never talk about sends shivers down my spine. Can you imagine looking this man in the eyes in your final moments of life?
In order to get à deal he had to tell everything leave one thing one crime out deal off
@@Yojsucj It would be in his best interest to admit every single little thing. Everything he admitted to are the only things that are covered in that 5 year sentence. So if he were to leave a murder off, Gotti or somebody else could have come out and sold him down the river on the murder and he would have got 25 more years.
Exactly
@@darrenk7163 😂
Right. He always balks at anything in the questions that makes him out as a coward murdering loser. Make no mistake. We can only scratch the surface of his evil.
My favorite Italian gangster💯 Smart, tough & non racist
Also a rat
I’m sure mooley was in his vocabulary until about 95 among the n word
The Boosie interviews are great, the 2pac thing is epic but this shit right here! This where Vlad gets stripes in my book. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Despite alot of bad things Sammy is 1 of the last from that era and way of life back in the day.Just knowing the historical figures he knew so personally especially Gotti is legendary in itself. Most like me cannot fathom the things this man has seen and experienced.Always look forward to hearing his stories
GREAT MEMORY,, HE KEEPIN IT 1OOO
sammy the rat.
He’s definitely not from that way of life if he’s speaking on camera about the mafia. Maybe he used to be but not once he turned fed. Tf happened to Omertà?
@@Nandoswitharando yes but still definitely used to be before flipping
@@Nandoswitharandoyou sound like a love struck mafia fanboy lol! Unless you were in that life an would be willing to spend the rest of natural life in a secure Fed prison, then just sit back and enjoy the stories!
Great interview. He has incredible stories and insights.
He killed a 16 year old boy in a case of mistaken identity. In his lying video he blames the kid for wielding a bass bat bat, and blames someone else for doing the shooting in his video, which ain'twhat he told the fbi when he ratted.. He's a liar, rat, fink. Believe about 10% of what this rat says. If his lips are moving, he's lying..
