The value from this channel is insane you are not going to get this kind of information anywhere else and the way Mike explains and shows everything is high grade content. I also love the honesty & realness from him because immediately I had to re assess and hold myself accountable for some of the dumb shit I do in the gym in terms of how to use certain equipment, learning how to connect with your body and addressing ego lifting.

His explanations are so simple to understand and makes it so clear as to what angles your body needs to be at and why. Most people just say certain things and assume you know what it means in practice. I finally felt my back work yesterday for the first time in a long time listening to these videos.

I screwed up my shoulderblade thanks to listening to so many claimed know it all's. Keeping my SCAPULA locked all the friggin time has created a lot of pain over the years. Working back has become one of my favorite days thanks to these videos. I worked with lighter weights than I normally would for about 3 months after finding this channel. Yesterday I hit a PR on bench press. It actually works, using lighter weights, yes you build muscle and power! One question though, on back, you mention to keep your elbows in front of you during contraction - is it detrimental (physiologically) to squeeze them back further? There's no pain or stiffness if I do, but I see you limiting it a bit. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks for the vid Mike. Keep them coming! Think I'm going to have to make a trip to Canada and schedule a session!

The Most accurate part was the last 4minutes!
1st 30mins is preference, personal assumptions, opinion on what’s happening during various movements-as expected.
*hopefully in 20yrs exercise science will have caught up & done all the hard research to have textbooks laying 80% out as black & white. Then they can have 9hr Long 600 pg US National PT exams that test you on every fact in every textbook of note as well as test your ability to think critically on client cases etc. This alone should weed out 80% of online “coaches” & can be done in every area too (ie. Diet, PED/Pharmacology-yes you’d actually have to learn all of pharma not just 3 mechanisms of action)

I don't know anyone who thinks a pullover machine is the be all and end all but it is a good tool if used correctly which i do agree most people don't, i always use it in pre exhaust super set into a pull down, definitely don't over stretch with it and no need to go heavy, yes you want to drive the elbows into the pads and down but try doing the conccentric with a slow tempo just like you would on the eccentric

I have one question, does it make a different when i do a (small) hammer grip or a neutral (wide) grip on the seated row (14:15). What i read about it is that the wider the grip, the wider the back. Or is that BS? Thanks for your answer!
