I had no possessions, no money, just the clothes on my back. It took me 6 years to finally make it back to the states. My wife is now my ex wife and and my son still hates me. Crazy times, man.

Also, nobody accidently eats a whole sheet of blotters that's a lot of paper to eat and you'd definitely notice. The story should feature liquid lsd to make it more believable and either less than 6 years or some explanation of why it took such a long time.
