Her brother is the guy sitting on the basketball sweating lol 😂 I’m in it too with the crowd doing the back and forth dance to the right of the screen. That was a long but fun day
Aaliyah just executed this energy that can’t be duplicated by any artist in the History of music . Her death effected me so much !!!!!!!’ She was a 1 of 1 recording artist!!!!
Omg I love Aaliyah she was so young but damn look at that swag she had at such a young age. I always loved her swag and her style of clothes and the way she did her hair. So epic.
I was Born Oct 16 1979.. I still can't believe Aaliyah is literally the same age as me.. wow time fly by so fast... thank for reaction..all the 90s Fashion/clothing is coming back. 2020... BTS is trying so hard to resurrect Disco...good luck...
I love everything Aaliyah so much I will never get over her death it was so violent and undeserving and I will forever be in limbo waiting on all the songs, movies, arts etc that would have come out had she never boarded that damn plane what a loss...😭😢
Aaliyah!!! She was the best and this song was the best when she was 15 years old. I was totally obsessed with her music and I still am to this day. That chorus has me jammin’ LOVED IT!!!!! Such music to my ears 👂👂🎶🎧🎶😇
takes me back to Sayre Middle School in West Philadelphia in 1994. i was 12 at the time and this song was the jam! it was everywhere. this was quite a time in music.
Yes! This is my favorite Aaliyah song. It comes on, and I start dancing. I love her so much! No joke, I almost named my daughter Aaliyah. And your reaction didn't disappoint. Great as usual.
This is my favorite song from her. Man I miss her Can you react to Hi-Five She playing hard to get TLC Diggin on you Guy- lets chill Lo-Key I got a thang for ya
Speaking of Aaliyah hooping, back in the day MTV used to do a celebrity basketball game and she played in it one year. I was too young to actually watch and there isn't any footage of the actual game but there are pics of her in her uniform and I (and lots of other people) have her jersey (Bricklayers was the name of the team she was on along with Da Brat)
She didn't have the best singing range, but Aaliyah knew how to make a hit song man. She had a angelic voice, sexy tomboy style, and didn't have to sing half, or all the way naked to sell music. She had swagger, with pure talent. I was blessed to see her in concert here in LA when she first came out. It was an epic experience.
She definitely had range. She just wasn't a Whitney, but she presented another type of vocal power! It's been a long time ppl should stop being ignorant about it.
This song was recorded in 1993 and released in 1994. R Kelly wrote and produced the song. He wrote and produced all of the songs in her first album. Aaliyah was 14 when she recorded the song and 15 when the song came out. She was once or Kelly's protege. The song is great.
When Aaliyah was making the video for the song, it was her 15th birthday. The video was made at the high school that Aaliyah was attending at the time.
This is one of my all time favorite Aaliyah songs but I have not been able to stomach R Kelly's voice for years. I'm from the south side of Chicago and know quite a few people who can confirm how dangerous he was for black girls in the city. I used to be able to seperate the music from the person but for years now it's been impossible w him. That being said it was a joy to see you react to one of her first real hits. Aaliyah totally deserves!
Great reaction ! She was only 15 when this song came out. As you said, she would have been so huge if she were still around... 😢 Please, react to her song « Read Between The Lines ». It has a dark Latin vibe to it. Just a 🔥 song !!!
Anyone who know how R Kelley was around Aaliyah, has no trouble believing he likes children. Yes, she looked like a young woman but you still know she's under 18. I love this song so much but it reminds me of the good old days.
A bit out there, these two other songs by BTS, I discovered only about two months ago - dimple and pied piper live - a double header - I think you might dig it. Watch with the English subs as I don’t speak Korean either. On the same Spotify playlist as ascension and back and forth and MJ’s rock with you
Dope Channel, such a welcome style and energy! Jack speaking of R&B, you should review alternative R&B FKA Twigs “Papi Pacify”. The videos super artsy.
Aaliyah and r kelly were actually married at the time but they kept it secret because he was older than her unfortunately they got an annulment because of that
This was Aaliyah’s first single. She was 15 years old
@@JackReacts904 which means she recorded this a year or so younger like all the teeny boppers did in the 90's
