    Those look delicious, can they be frozen, can you freeze the filling, and make at another time ? Can't wait to try these.

    I have fond memories of eating fresh Georgia pecans as a kid. Breaking them open with our hands and pulling out the sweet nut meat.

    I've been planning to make my own mooncakes to share with my Hong Kong colleagues, and now I guess I'll have to give this recipe a shot.

    You should sell those at Costco I would by them in a heartbeat plus pecan pie I love it !

      yes! they are similar! we fashioned them off of our ham and nut mooncakes to get the consistency right (thewoksoflife.com/ham-nut-mooncake-recipe/)
