Just did this install and took me about 2hrs. Khloe always makes it look easy. The hardest part was getting the fenders back in place nice and tight. Well worth the time and effort.
Chloe always maintains her smile and every time I see any of her videos I can’t help but to smile as well! Be safe Chloe and thank you for your amazing videos🌹
Thank you for doing this. You've given me so much confidence to do these mods myself. I just did this one on my 2019 Tacoma and it went flawlessly. The step by step instructions you give in your videos are great. I've done a few of the mods you've posted about now and all turn out perfect. Thank you!!
I just picked up a 2023 TRD Sport that came with the OEM LED’s. They are super bright and I would recommend them to anyone as an upgrade. They are as bright as the Laser Lights on my 2022 BMW M3.
Update: happy to report I finally installed my LED headlights, and they are FANTASTIC! Super easy to install using your video. Thank you also for the link to get them and the Chloe discount! I also used the time to install a Heritage grille, my truck just looks awesome! And the LED upgrade is a BIG upgrade. Much better visibility at night, plus the sharper looks as well.
$100 bucks and 5 minutes of work Sylvania Zevo LED H11 gives the Tacoma excellent 6000K white light with exceptional forward and side throw. Cut off is very defined and no people flashing their brights at you.
These are some of my favorite headlights. Surprisingly, they played a big factor in the truck I selected. They are styled beautifully and will last a long time in terms of relevance in (light) design.
Thank you for the video! I ordered the headlights from Sparks and they came super quick and very nicely packaged. Followed your video and got mine all set this weekend! You rock!
I have the 3rd gen oem led’s and can say they are worth it. So nice to not have to dick around with crappy retrofits like on my 2nd gen. Output is tremendous.
Good to see you showed all LEDs available to take any confusion out. Waiting for my 22 TRD Sport to arrive here in Canada and Dave's harness is a must I've found out. Just shopping out non PRO LEDs. You are now bookmarked. Cheers
Very good video, Chloe! It's really amazing how you can do pretty much anything and do it well. You're the only channel I have that I sit through the ads for. :)
I ordered the aluminum oil filter housing after changing the oil for the first time. I had to take the pro skid plate off and use a 2 ‘ breaker bar to get the plastic one off. It was so tight I had a aluminum one on my Avalon.
Besides the power seats in the 2020 Tacoma. Another big reason I went with the 2020 Tacoma was because of the led lights with the sequential turn signal!! Nice work Chloe!! I have the exact same silver Tacoma 2020 trd off road with the LED headlights!
Like it I’m glad you tell people difference between OEM headlights and aftermarket headlights because most aftermarket headlights are non-DOT approved and you can be ticketed for illegal headlight too riding with my Jeep in Toyota Buddy’s
I won’t lie, I just got home from work and started watching the video about how you were gonna change the lights. Moments later I dozed off and woke back up to you taking off the grill and the sides and was like “we still changing the lights here…right?” Haha they do look awesome though!!
Mine came with the leds. They are awesome. Super bright. Even in the rain. Be prepared for people in little cars to constantly be flashing their highbeams at you at night though. Lol
I was wondering when you would upgrade your headlights! One of the first major mods I did to my taco was upgrading my headlights and tail lights. Keep up the great content Chloe! :)
Wow, you really are brave. I couldn't take the bumper off of a vehicle that I have only owned for 2 years. The lights and the installation was very good. Your also really good now at taking your car apart. Definitely looking forward to your next video.
@@Ramonperez590 I know this is a super late reply but its crazy how pricey these are!! Its a $485 option from the factory and these are $1500+ if your truck didn't come with them(like mine hence why i'm here). Absolute robbery.
I can see that your channel is going to cost me a lot of money! I'm glad you don't have a 5th gen 4Runner as well. Great channel, glad I found it, I'm enjoying the mods.
While I plan to also upgrade to the LED OEM lights I am glad that the halogen ones have an LED C light/drl. That was one thing I wished my Subaru had was the LED C light it just looks so much better
Hi Chloe...just checking...but on the Sparkparts website if you run the fitment guide...it says that the light will not fit a 2019 TRD Off Road. is that just because of the wiring?
Chloe, I have the new lights you put in. I was reading that there is not a way to change the running light is that correct? I heard you have to change the full headlight out
Looks awesome!! I’ve been considering on doing this but wasn’t sure on the wiring and now I know….my savings account hates you Chloe! I also agree with staying OEM. Truck is looking sick!!
thats what i want...to install the 2023 LED housing on my 2022 halogen housing..instaed of aftermarkets which youre not sure of...when you say OEM, it's gtenuine toyota parts, right?
I got a LED kit from Telpo . It came with a wiring harness that connected to both DRL's and just had a white wire.... ? How do I "complete" the installation? Where does this white wire connect to ?
So I’ve been told the original wiring harness must be replaced with a harness that will work for a 6 pin prong adaption, my 2021 Tacoma TRD off-road currently runs off a 2 pin harness for my halogen lights I very much dislike. So I see you have figured it out and you make this look so easy ! I’ve got to ask was the correct wire harness an expensive purchase for your new TRD pro LED headlights ? Also can you please let me know the price of them and where I can purchase them because I too want them so bad ! Hope to hear from you soon Chloe !

Hi Chloe those light looks so nice .. i have a question . Do you kno if i can still have HID on those lights . Because i have 2016 but i love hid . I would like to keep them ... thank you
Hey Chloe . Great tutorial and help with getting this set up . I had a question about your parts numbers listed . I used the parts numbers and Sparks sent me one standard and one trd pro . Super weird. I am waiting for a response from them . I was curious though, were you able to find parts numbers for the pro version vs the standard version ? I was half way into the install when I realized the difference so may be stuck with one of each. It doesn’t look bad but it’s just strange . Figured I’d ask you since you had looked into parts numbers and knew more about the different version headlights. Thanks :)
The LEDs like this one are darker correct? (2020 OR) The originals are functional, but I'm looking for a darker appearance and the added performance of the LED. Thanks!

Hi Chloe.. just got our Tacoma Trail Edition 2023 last friday but need some upgrades of accessories esp the fog lights & led headlights!
For the 2021 trd offroad, you won’t need this wiring connector harness right?

You need an aftermarket harness.
How have they held up so far I heard they have bad stuff after years
Will these work on a 22 Tacoma SR5? I'm guessing they'd be the same.
My question will be do I get into a limited 2019 Tacoma?
