    ProTip: hold one of the buttons of the beatcounter B to change the display mode of the meters, one disables the peakhold, the other one turns on the hollow meters
    Works only on recent models (since late 2019), also on the other mixers that have that beatcounter ;)
    Cheers

    I have a Pioneer DJM-600 mixer that’s broken. I tried to fix it but no luck. Just ordered one from Sweetwater for $350 Can’t see spending $1100 dollars for a new mixer when I could get a Keyboard synthesizer 🎹. Behringer is a good brand. I also have a brand new RD-8 drum machine (Roland 808 clone) and a TD-3 bass line synthesizer (Roland TB-303 clone). Got them all for about $1000😏

    I really don't understand how can anyone consider the DJX series as being DJ oriented mixes.
    A DJ is supposed to mix (blend) two or more tracks into eachother and in order for this to happen one has to control the level of various tracks.
    Explain to me, please, how one can increase the level of a quiet track if the DJX mixers don't provide positive attenuation gain on its inputs?
    The technical specifications state the line input gain is 0 dB, so you draw the conclusions.

    Hey bud, hope you’re well. I’m going to sound super dumb here but I need a mixer just to archive my vinyls in BPM. Is it just a matter of hooking the deck upto the mixer and boom I’ll have my bpm for that particular vinyl?

    I was given a brand new one of these by a friend of mine. I am a life-long pioneer user. My first one was a djm500, then upgraded to a 600 when my 500 was dropped and broken. Then got an 800 and kept that for over 10 years before selling it when I moved to another country and couldn’t bring my gear. I have to say, this Behringer is an absolute piece of garbage. I have 2 analog Technics turntables and 2 cdjs. Every output (main, tape and booth) hums, the effects are worse than useless, the faders crackled after just 2 weeks use, the cross fader is not accurate (mine, when set at center, favors the left channel). If all you’re doing is blending 2 tracks together there are better mixers for about the same price available on the market.

    Hello, I am in Canada.. I bought this machine at a Thrift Store (Salvation Army) a few years ago except a scratch where the corner got bent because it was dropped, it's in perfect condition and it looks like it's in perfect working order all the lights come on, and I think I paid $12.00 for it lol... How old is the mixer and is it still being used today? What did it come with out of the box? I am setting up a DAW at home, I've been reading all the reviews on this machine, can I use it with my DAW for creating music, I'm just learning this stuff... Thanks!

Hope you're all good :) I personally use a Serato Live box for playing Digital Vinyl System with my turntables, which I can use to record my DJ sets via Serato DJ Software. Hey man, couple of questions if you don't mind. Say I have 2 channels up at the same time if I'm mixing one track into another, can I play effects on a specific channel or will the effect be for the 2 channels I have up? Also, what's the EQ control like? The mixer I'm working with just now gives me very little control, basically the lowest the bass can go is in the 7 o'clock position when I move the bass knob to the 8 o'clock position it comes pounding in.. so very little movement and it's not pretty much all in. Cheers

    • @BeatmatchGuru
      @BeatmatchGuru  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey there!, Yes you can apply the FX to specific channels, 1, 2, 3, 4 and master. The EQ is pretty decent but not like other mixers where you can complete cut the frequency fully. There's definitely a smooth curve when the EQ is being cut and then back to neutral again. Cheers, Dan

    • @BeatmatchGuru
      @BeatmatchGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Phil Lines, to my knowledge I've not noticed that about the power point. Do you mean the connection where the power lead connects to the mixer or where the plug is in the wall socket?
      My top advice for managing the heat of the DJ mixer is to keep an eye on how long you have the mixer on for.
      Make sure it's ventilated well e.g. with a fan on it. or try to keep out of a road case if over 25C temp.
      Also manage the dust that gets inside it.
      Hope that helps Phil :)

    When you buy these kind of mixers, ask yourself the following questions:
    - do you mix only for yourself, inside your bedroom, or do you also want to mix for others?
    - do you have the possibility to expand the mixer functionality?
    In my opinion, any DJ mixer worth its salt, designed for mixing in front of a crowd, should have the following mandatory features:
    - balanced XLR or TRS main mix outputs
    - monitor outputs
    - record outputs
    - effects send and return connections
    - individual channel meters or at least the PFL functionality
    - total kill equaliser
    - linear output channel faders (there is no use for a logarithmic channel fader on a DJ mixer)
    - rotary knob for the master level, positioned outside of the hands-on mixing area
    All the features described above are the starting point in choosing a good DJ mixer, regardless of brand.
    Cutting corners on quality and features, looking only at the price tag, won't buy you reliability, good sound, good service and spare parts, all of which means, ultimately, your piece of mind and the possibility to focus more on creativity.
    A good DJ mixer is a long term investment.
    Unfortunately, while their efforts are commendable, Behringer DJ mixers are not there yet.

      what do you think about reloop rmx 60 digital?

    • @valentingheorghe1693
      @valentingheorghe1693 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SabinoDTmusic Reloop RMX-60 Digital is built very solid, with quality finish and good sound over a digital processing architecture. If you don't mind the lack of built-in DVS or midi support, Reloop RMX-60, especially after its latest firmware update, is, in my opinion, the best standard 4 channel mixer that will not brake your bank and make you feel at home when you get to a club with standard pioneer mixer set-up. My opinion about the Reloop RMX-60 Digital is based on hands on experience with it, as I own two of them.
      In comparison with a Behringer DJX750 or a Numark M6, both weighing around 3.5 kg, Reloop RMX-60 Digital sits on about 7 kg of joy and piece of mind.
      If you have any doubts about the Reloop RMX-60, I can tell you that its noise floor is very low, its inputs and outputs deliver good sound level and quality and, as a side note, if you ever forget to turn off your speakers first, nothing will happen to them when you turn off or on the mixer, because its power supply is silent (no clicks, no pops, no buzz).
      The only thing you have to be aware of is the digital sound processing architecture, which involves DACs, both on inputs and outputs, requiring attention to your input and output levels.
