Masterly interpreted. Thank you. I heard this first on a weekday afternoon in 1972 on a rather distant FM station in Europe with the signal fading in and out but I taped it anyway, as one did in those days. Like the Floyd's DSOTM, Thick As A Brick will never be forgotten. It is music with substance, character and Feeling (heart). "the poet lifts the pen ...." love it.
...this is not a cover, it is a complete interpretation. ...excellent by far!! ...congratulations to both the performers. #...and greetings from an old Jethro Tull fun, from Greece.
There are chills all around my body! This is definetely one of the best progrock songs of all time, and your performance is incredible. Not a surprise though coming from you, Eren.
I am a 70 years italian boy, from the very beginning of Thick as a brick outcoming i loved it. Still It is for shure one of the very few pieces that I like completely. The flute-piano cover is really beautiful !!!
A great prog tune. And very well done by you both. Great dynamics. Hats off. You killed it regardless of those looking to compare your rendition to others. This is YOUR rendition.
Stunning. Wonderful performance (and arrangement). As a long time Tull fan I was blown away. I know this was a few years ago but I hope both performers have continued into successful careers! Respect from Scotland!
That was Frickin Fantastic ! And she was all over it with ease . she kept getting prettier and prettier as the song played out the story and its fabrics filled my heart with so much of so many parts of my own Life, .that I must of gone around the world .... Oh , he was very well played also . idk who you 3 ppl are but ThanX.
Excelente !!! Belíssimos, conheço Jethro Tul desde 1970, é a minha banda favorita. Já vi vários covers do Jethro aqui no Brasil e no youtube os do exterior, mas essa dupla foi a melhor representação do todos os tempos !!!! Nota 10.
BRAVO!!! Eren, Brilliant arrangement and fantastic performance. Feyza, incredible job; you are quite poised for someone your age and the tone on the flute is both clear and crisp. What a wonderful collaboration. I would to hear you guys perform "By Kind Permission Of" by Jethro Tull from the Living In The Past record, which is Tull's only song dedicated for piano and flute. Best of luck to both of you in your careers.
Oh, now it's all so clear... jaja, that's why she has so many solo parts, right? Well, that and the fact of her is fuc*ing great. (: And you, Eren... no words.
It is nice to have a version to show to listeners of classical music, who are are not into rock music or prejudiced about it, and so miss the sheer substance of this composition. - Only other treat like this that I know, Songs From The Wood and Heavy Horses for string quartet: jIKxXwaQ1n0
Amazing cover of arguably the best prog song of all time. The only shortcoming IMHO is the song builds up to the ending keyboard melody, "I see you shuffle in the courtroom, with rings upon your fingers..." which is the payoff and resolution to the 22 minute song. I would re-work to incorporate and truncate that section at the end. Other than that it is perfect.
what an undertaking! That was an excellent rendition of Tull’s, "Thick as a Brick”. Didn’t think the youth even knew who he was. Lets hear your Bouree’ next.
Yes, but can she stand on one leg?
Lol
Only Ian can, he's one of a kind haha...this is still a great cover nonetheless
😂🤣😂
She can fly.
Boy, this is spectacular! I hope mr. Anderson somehow will be able to see this
This is incredible. Ian Anderson is brilliant, I'm sure he would love this piano flute arrangement, you guys are really talented.
Unbelievable... you have made JT fans everywhere very proud...IA i hope your watching..
Fantastic! I'm impressed that, with just 2 instruments, you have captured the music of a full band. A beautiful tribute to Mr. Anderson's genius.

What a beautiful performance and an equally wonderful arrangement and interpretation of a fantastic song.

Jethro Tull isn't the person, it's the band name. Ian Anderson is the singer/flutist/writer.

away with the music stands ! you don 't need them. folk music needs to be learned by heart...you are doing great!
Thick as a Brick is more of a prog rock song though
