      Hey Richard Gene,how bout a stream wading video where you catch your own grampus’s (hellgrammites) and fish for smallmouth,rock bass,etc. I love to that up here in ky. It’s not done much anymore. Most folks would be scared to death of a big ole hellgrammite. Love the videos. Keep’em coming. God Bless to you and Your’s.

    Really enjoy you , brother. Nothing better than country folks ! I am from Kentucky, and used to come to Guntersville every spring, but I lost my best fishin buddy to cancer last year. We always enjoyed coming to Alabama, and always released every bass we ever caught . Nothing better than bluegill and shell crackers in the frying pan ! Keep doing what you’re doing ! Roll Tide !!!

    Im fixing to go get 30 crappie caught this week as i intend to use the spiritual realm and spuritual things to influence the conditions. Ive used spiritual methods to do things when it wasnt going well so i plan to get me a big crappie meal.I plan to just call a decree over a certain lake in my area to influence fish feeding. Most would say i was crazy and out of my tree. When ive done this type of stuff before i admit people who saw it were baffled at seeing this stuff. You know to the doubters that God told us all there was nothing abnormal about doing this stuff because they toiled all night and got not a fish and Jesus said or Master. He said cast the net out a little from shore. They doubted in their heart still saying we will catch nothing. Still by grace they caught many and all you have to do is believe it and go catch 30 crappie in the blazing hot sun with no structure in mid summer. I see a dove sitting in my tree all day long which is unusual after calling this supernatural stuff out. I have done this before and succeeded often when God showed up there was a lot of wind damage psalm 50-v3 twice i saw 100mph winds. I feel everyone should remember whose fish they are and the creator who made them and thank Him for success and know this stuff is really real and that it should be all about glorifying God and His son thats what fishing is really all about. So i'll go catch my 30 crappie and remember the Lord in all my days. A major severe weather event is coming most dont see to areas of America

    I like the "desert water" you talked about. 10% of the water holds 90% of the fish. "Old ways" of finding fish is also great advice. I tell my 11 year-old son that the water birds are the best fishermen anywhere. They fish for a living, LITERALLY! If they don't eat they die! Good video....hopefully we get to fish together one day.

You consistently deliver great action and we have been going ultra light for years. How could anyone ask for more from a fishing trip?

    Quick question, Mr. Gene...avid fisher woman from TX, here. I’m curious about which type of line you’d recommend/that you use for targeting pan fish? Mono, fluoro, mixed (fluoro-coated), braid...what about lb test line? I currently run 4lb mono on an ultra-light action panfish rod, but I’m almost always missing “feeling” more bites than those that lead to a fish...I also generally go w/a size 6 panfish hook....what gives? I bank fish a lot (from a barge, usually), targeting structure & trees...SKUNKED! HUNGRY!
    The spawn is coming...I need to shore up, SOMETHING about my technique...or I’ll be one HANGRY fisher woman all season long...HELP!
    I love watching your channel, btw...good fun, GREAT, FISHING!

    • @MrEazyE357
      @MrEazyE357 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not Richard but if you're missing panfish bites you're probably in an area with an overpopulation of tiny fish. Could that be an issue? From your comment it sounds like you're fishing the same area over and over.

      @@AmaraOkpechi Well I would definitely try a new spot. There's a pond near me that's nearly impossible to fish bait in because of the overabundance of tiny fish.

    • @JohnDoe-jc3cl
      @JohnDoe-jc3cl 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ Amara. Chicago, Cook Co Forest Preserves fisherman here. That barge that you fish on, is it anchored halfway near deep water, or just beached up in the sand. Cause you need to find yourself some deeper water nearby. That or make some far casts.
      And you gotta stay on top of that bobber. You can’t just loly gag around. You might get tired of keeping your eyes on that bobber but you’ll see if fish are stripping your bait or not.
      And remember: those really big bluegills and shell crackers are as shy as a pick pocket. !! They ain’t like those teenagers you’ve been catching. That’ll just jump on the hook. Remember, they’re 6,7,8 years old and they’ve been living out there day in and day out all those years . They know what time it is.... A lot like a trophy buck.
      You should buy yourself a little honing stone for your tackle box and test every hook you tie on.
      And cut little v notch in your bucket, so you can set it down. But keep it at arm’s distance- - at the ready.
      There’s probably bigger gills out from where you’re at. Try fishing in water 2 or 3 x deeper than what you’re at if you can cast to it.
      It’s easy, once you KNOW HOW 😄😄
      Good Luck!
