The battle in Egypt has finally come to an end! It was a crazy, emotional ride, but a journey that we will never forget!
Our Stardust Crusaders have come face to face with DIO and, though we suffered some tragic losses, have come out victorious in the end! The battle with Jotaro and Joseph (& Polnareff) against DIO brought about a nice conclusion to their family feud (or did it? 🤔). Jonathan would be proud ㅠㅠ

1. Joseph only hold 3 tickets on the train
2. Avdol, Kakyoin, Iggy on the other side of a river(Sanzu River is Asian myth, dead people cross this river to the after life world)
The sad thing is that Kakyoin never got to say goodbye to his parents and friends. His parents are still waiting for there boy to come home so they dont know he's dead. :(
Imagine being the person to tell kakyoin's parents that their son ran off with a teenager, an old man, a black guy, a dog, a French guy to Egypt and kill a gay vampire, but he got fisted to death
Listen to the music that was suppose to play as the credit in the sountrack on the episode kakyoin died.
Honestly they were told he ran away from home and now lives a happy live. It's better that way.
Same with shigechi(his parent still waiting he to come home) , kawajiri kosaku (his wife and Hayato still waiting him for dinner) and all of person that kira kill (they familiy/friend still waiting they come home

Knowing now how Dio's Stand works, the amount of effort he put in just to unnerve Polnereff is ridiculous. I can totally picture him rushing down the stairs, moving him down 2 steps (probably laughing his ass off) them rushing back up to his original pose lmao
I think he used The World to do it while DIO was just chilling up the stairs. But imagining DIO stopping time and picking up Polnareff to move him down the stairs while giggling to himself and then running back to his originial position is hilarious.

DIO is pretty great as a villain. always like to go back and rewatch these episodes because of how cool they are. Enjoyed your reaction and cant wait for part 4!

3. A cold and calculating one.
4. Completely mad, drunk with power and eager to crush those who annoy him (as after absorbing the blood of Joseph who scratches his head until he draws blood).
These four states are VERY important, believe me.

Fun fact: Originally The World had all the powers of Tarot Stands, but the creator thought that would be too overpowered, so for the final battle The World could only stop time.
But going by that logic, it's more accurate to say The World copied Star Platinum's power, not the more commonly believed reversed.
Eric Coldfire well yes but actually no, star platinum was the very first stand to be developed so of course it’s the world copying star platinum, but lore wise star platinum is copying the world, as the world is in fact DIO’s stand, Jonathans body has its own stand which is similar to hermit purple, Jonathan’s body gave Joseph and Jotaro their stands, Joseph has a stand that can only track dio, and Jotaro..well it’s kinda obvious, he has a stand to directly counter dios
that's false. dio and jotaro were always planned to stop time. the moment he used a hermit purple like ability was him using jonathan's stand. i can see why you would assume he's using hermit purple tho.
@@piesmuggler7268 Uh, Araki has stated that his initial idea was for DIO to be able to use all stands in multiple interviews, that The World would have the ability to use any stand in the world. Stardust Crusaders ended in 1992 and it's not just a one-off thing where he once said it and never again.
He's later said that he likes to think that hermit purple is how hamon manifests itself as a stand. This makes a lot of sense as DIO was still using Jonathan' body and less so towards the end: Where he only needed a bit more time or Joestar blood to completely take over Jonathan' body. And is a good way to circumvent the 'error' of DIO using hermit purple in early part 3.
He simply deciding against it, because it'd be convoluted to write: He'd have to ask himself, "Why wouldn't DIO use X stand in Y situation" every single panel - instead he gave him a much simpler but powerful ability of stopping time.

The name of his Stand is The World, and it has the power to stop time. It is also the same type of Stand as Star Platinum.

You guys might want to look into using the subtitles from some-stuffs because in Part 4 and beyond there's going to be a lot of names changed in the subtitles.
Remember the 3rd most important rule in JoJo, every time a vampire appears in the screen, something *disgusting* is going to happen
Bad (or good) thing about JoJo is that deaths are sudden and unexpected. It's almost like real life, but more suggested. Araki is a master in this, and he's not ashamed to kill his main characters.
Best part about the stairs scene os that Dio stopped time, moved polnaref back in place a bunch of times.
Jotaro can stop time only for a maximum of 5 seconds. According to Araki, this is the limit for humans because the human body would not be able to withstand the strain for any longer than 5 seconds. As you've already seen in part 4, it takes practice to maintain that ability. Also, Jotaro had to be severely nerfed for plot purposes.

Quick data for Jotaro vs DIO fight. Jotaro isn’t flying, he’s using Star Platinum to impulse himself and punching to move. The anime doesn’t portray this properly except in some scenes so if someone isn’t paying attention, they’d think Jotaro can just fly out of nowhere.

I remember Stardust Crusaders was my fav arc. And when I read watched in english dub I liked part 4 better. Kira is the best villain with a crazy stand hands down👌. Reminds me of Patrick Bateman from American Psyco
