    Can you add 2 gyres to one controller?

    What about running two with one at each end of the aquarium so you can get alternating flow from each pump. Does the "synchronized" option do that or would both units work against each other operating in the exact flow pattern/intensity creating huge turbulence in the middle of the aquarium? Sorry, if this is a dumb question, but I have never used a system like this. My old Hydor wave maker that came with two power heads in the kit was just ruined when my basement floor drain backed up flooding my basement with two feet of black water. Sadly, it contaminated my 75 gallon reef and destroyed much of my gear which needs replaced now.

      They cannot anti-sync
      You could put them on their own groups and set them to random and hope for the best
      On my tank I don't find that it really creates that much turbulence in the center

    only downside I see is needing a separate controller for each pump. It would be a big + to be able to connect two to the same controller

    Can you guys do a video on flow setups with these gyres?
    They're not easy to get right - they either blast the hell out of your tank, or don't do anything - its tricky.

    What isn’t on the Box or in the media is that they Stop 3 times an hour to re-sync with the program. Every 20 mins they stop, Red Sea confirmed to me that this is written into the software and won’t be written out. I found it so annoying I sold both my 25s.

      They do a lot of content like this for all of the products they offer though - I don’t mind it
      They have by far the most educational information out there

    Just buy the original the Maxspect gyre.

    • @Random.Thoughts21
      @Random.Thoughts21 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True that. But maxspect asks for additional equipment for wifi connection which is just money grab. Red sea has better software. But gyre is still better minus software.

      @@Random.Thoughts21 The Red Sea app is absolute dump, though. Like we're talking ten pounds of hot farts in a five pound paper bag, bad.
