I've had problems with acid reflux. I now have COPD. My doc says I have Emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and asthma. I don't eat after 5 pm and stay away from certain foods. I'm gonna say, I can truly appreciate what you're doing. I used to work on a lot of different machinery and now I can't change my oil. But, I'm fighting this disease. I exercise when I don't feel up to it and my body seems to respond. I admire you for putting together this beautiful bird. The Corsair, P51, and P40 are my favorite Warbirds. Each of them are special in their own right. I needed a little uplift tonight. Thank you!
Acid Reflux/GERDs.I had it a ten yrs ago was on a med for it. However I lost weight and it went away. Why? I found out our belly fat literally will pysically push our stomach upwards and in so doing raises the stomach contents to the valve/esophagus and cause havoc. Also found out as we age our stomach acid actually weakens so food takes much longer to digest and get out of our stomach which also causes havoc. So I lost weight and then also started tacking a digestive aid+ ox bile (can get from any healthfood store or amazon etc...) prior to every meal... problem went completely away now for 10yrs. Might want to give it a try/or do a bit of research, it's inexpensive.
You caught me by surprise when you started the engine. I thought you were just going to sit in the cockpit. Then you had me on the edge of my seat when you raised the tail. I can't tell you how many times I nosed over with my taildragger RC models trying to do that. Wow, what a sweet airplane.

My Dad was an engineer at Chance Vought Aircraft in Stratford, CT during WWII, and helped in the design of the Corsair. Great to see this beautiful replica !
This is the single coolest video I've seen today. What an amazing idea and you built it into reality. I honestly was wondering if it was RC until you walked towards it. Neato burrito.
One of the coolest projects I’ve seen! Curious, will it not need the short ‘angle iron’ piece mounted to the leading edge of the right wing? (Full scale Corsairs had this mounted just outboard of the guns, and it was for mitigating the plane’s tendency to tip stall on landing. )
As someone who has tried their hand at building my own RC planes this is the most insane thing I have ever seen. I stumbled across your channel by chance in my feed and this is truly amazing.
My dad used to fly corsairs and hellcats in World War II, he really would've loved to have one of these, great job!

And if someone has never woke up not being able to breathe because you’re choking on your reflux, and they don’t know what that does to you. You spend the rest of your night trying to clear your lungs of that burning terrible sensation. Ignore those comments. Ignorance runs rampant on TH-cam. Love your plane! I would spend every minute of every day flying if I could. Sensation is amazing!
I didn't even notice or care. You don't need to explain yourself. Either way, what you've built is amazing.
That’s so beautiful!!! The F4U Corsair always been one of my favorite Planes… nice and keep it up!
Thank You
I just admire the skill of anyone who can take on a project and complete it. GREAT JOB! OLD AGE!! I started having some liver problems and I knocked off all the sugar, pop, candy, cookies, ice cream. vegetable oil I and dropped the amount of meat to only what I need. I dropped off weight and my blood pressure dropped, and my liver quit brothering me. Diet, Diet, Diet, I have never drank or smoked, so if you do, ------ stop now. In the grave it is too late to change. Everything has some sugar, so I'm still working on some items that has it in it; such as cereal. There are things you can do besides drugs store medicine. By the way I feel better too!
WOW! My favorite warbird. What a spectacular job you have done. Congratulations. When she lifted the tail it was so cool.
Cheers.
This is just amazing. Like hands down, my favorite homebuilt plane TH-cam video series.
Good stuff! The F4U Corsair was always a favourite of mine... watched alot of Baa Baa Black Sheep as a kid! Looking forward to seeing it fly! As for age - yeah, getting up there myself... know all to well that it sucks to get old!
Absolutely AWESOME! My jaw dropped onto my chest when you lifted the tail !
My Dad was an engineer at Chance Vought Aircraft in Stratford, CT during WWII, and helped in the design of the Corsair. Great to see this beautiful replica !
Cool to see the run up. Can't wait to see it in the air. Super job on the build.
It's a beauty. What a great job you have done.
Thank you.
Man! That thing sounds BADASS ! Beautiful plane !
(Full scale Corsairs had this mounted just outboard of the guns, and it was for mitigating the plane’s tendency to tip stall on landing. )
This is nothing like a real one. It uses a different airfoil, so the mods you asked about , don't apply.
Really enjoyed the Video. Yep, old age always has a trick up its sleeve - I couldn't even begin to get to that cockpit, my knees are so shot!
I kid you not I shouted like a little kid when that engine fired up. Such awesome work on your end, keep it up
This is awesome! Thank you for building something that cool.
As someone who has tried their hand at building my own RC planes this is the most insane thing I have ever seen. I stumbled across your channel by chance in my feed and this is truly amazing.
