You may want to consider caulking the camera mount. Unless you're absolutely sure the mount is water tight. Good learning experience for the wife. Great vid.👍

Wonderful video and great inspiration!! I have a question. Could I use this camera on my RAM truck? We have a fifth wheel and we took off the tailgate of the RAM truck (which housed the camera). So, we need to install a new camera. Would this product work?
Hello and we appreciate you stopping in. I’m not sure if the Haloview camera would work on your truck. The footprint of the camera is a little wide. That may cause an issue when mounting it to your truck. You can try it, but it will be an expensive backup camera for your truck.
Katina you missed an opportunity to correct him when he was talking about the SD card. He said to turn the camera over. He should have said the display monitor. Lol😮

Hello Fam thanks for stopping by. When we got back home, We secured some of the wiring to make sure it was a solid connection. The green wire will not be an issue as there are no other wires exposed for it to make contact with. We also applied silicone to make the installation waterproof. Thanks for your support! Great job,but I would have used connectors and shrink tubing,so to make it waterproof and then wrap the green wire so not to someday have a short.
