To the people questioning the Victim:
Obviously there's more to the story. She was trafficked. There may have been issues at home. So what? Does that justify the trafficking? She may have gotten into drugs, but she doesn't owe anyone to tell that information. She might not be ready to talk about that. It isn't something easy to share. She ranaway as a kid and was taken to be a prositute by force. Let's not forget that.

It would demand extreme efforts for the authorities to get hold of these people then arrange court trials and then send them to jails.also sending more people to jail is not the solution of the problem. Once these accused men are in jail they would just live their lives easy in the jail.( For which more money would be required/ facilities shall be arranged, etc.) Nothing else will change. This not the solution.

not necessarily. It could just have been a family culture of high expectation, since the kid seemed to be excellent and chieving on many different things in her childhood. When love is shown only when excellence and perfection are met, when love isn't unconditionally shown, then often, as for this young child, when she reaches failure or struggles to achieve, then the low self estime and the feeling that she would be rejected comes up. I'm not saying that it is the case here but here is an alternative to the underlying issues.
But praise God for the mum who fought hard to save her daughter and seemingly is showing her love for her daughter despite her past and runaways... that daughter, if she had any doubt of her mum's unconditional love, now she has proof.

Do people have to know their whole life story for the point of this piece to come across? If they had other personal issues besides the ones stated that's within their right not to disclose as much. The point is that the girl was able to escape trafficking and her mom has successfully fought her perpetrators on her behalf. What more do you need?

Yes of course it's the nasty disrespectful men falt but come on , what if she had no fear in showing her parent that bad grade. When my son brings home a bad grade, I help him to improve it, not scare him. A bad grade should never scare a child so much that they run away from a place called home. There is so much to the story, like she should speak of what would happend to her if she had showed her parent that grade. She would probably be abused or is she mentally ill . You can be good at sports and be mentally ill. We just don't know the entire story.

      Cliff Rooks Not true.
When I was 16, I got a detention at school, and contemplated running away, rather than disappointing my parents.

This family's narcissistic, passive inaction to their teenage daughter is what put Jessica in that situation! Interesting how the story was manipulated to frame the mother as a hero.
No good mother blames the child for their own actions.
Even as a reactive decision, there's a reason Jessica chose streets over home in the first place. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't understand how they could say that the law that Trump passed takes away from their first amendment rights. Because that is the one that talks about freedom of speech, religion, and press.

The parents should ASK themselves why their daughter is afraid to Tell them about Bad Grades and rather Runs away from Home instead

    • @ccasagram

Leslie Kanz that is normal, she was a kid, not an adult. Not aware of the dangers in the world. Kids are vulnerable and these vampires prey upon them. They do stupid things and then are brainwashed into believing they are not good enough to return home. It happens, but what should not happen is the trafficking. That is sick and happening a lot. The johns should be the focus of our questions and our need for answers. Why are they out there buying children? How can they be sold openly on the internet? Let’s not dissect the victim, let’s do that to those that harm these vulnerable people!!
