Personal note:
To be honest, wasn't a conducive smoking experience for me because I had to sit on the sand with no chair or bench to rest my back, humid & hot...plus I had gotten sunburn and aching shoulders from the evening's snorkeling activity.
Another cool location. For me cigars take patience. They can be delicious or disappointing. This depends on so many variables.
Age and storage are two important variables. Yes better to not smoke that cigar again. All the smoke and combustion that has passed through has now settled over the binder & filler. In most cases you can put down for some hours but not overnight or longer.
I definitely agree with you, Chris. This experience has really taught me to be in a conducive health/mind condition to smoke in order to have the maximum enjoyment out of a cigar (and especially a delicious one like Bolivar).
