Oh my goodness it's insane how fast she's picked up on some things. But she really has a mind of her own and can be stubborn when she wants! It's kind of hysterical!
Lol you guys remind me so much of me and my wife and all the learning we went through with our little Isabella! She’s a beautiful pup... keep up the good work, you’re doing great!
2 seconds in and I'm already swooning. Oh god, the hopping at the ball. It's like the red panda with the pumpkin video. LOL. I CAN'T. 3:34 - THAT FACE. Such a smart girl, already learning tricks!
I remember those long first few nights. Molly let us know she could bark...loud! I was surprised to read they sleep as much as newborn babies, but they do and often get their days and nights mixed up. We kept her crate in a dark area of the house during the day, enabling her to get the rest she needed in growing. Love your pup's little brown nose, ours has the same, it gives them a slightly softer look especially nice since you have a girl. Love the name, Bailey, our next pup is going to be Samantha, likely shortened to Sammie! Molly gets excited sometimes when she sees her favorite people and runs to the door and pees outside quickly, then runs back in! She loves people! This videos are so much fun to watch, brings back great memories.
So glad you love the videos (we have more coming soon!) The first few nights were sad, but we did the same with the crate covered and dark for her and it worked wonderfully!
I saw this video where the trainer put the pup up on a small table and it looked easier to train the sit, stay and down commands. The pup was nearly waist high
That's so awesome! We originally were thinking we'd get a light colored golden, but then we found Bailey and just had to bring her home to us. Yay for new puppy next year!
What did you do when she was about to pee in that first clip? Did you pick her up and go outside for her to continue? I might be getting a puppy and was curious.
We might be able to email you some pics when we get it! So if it’s a girl we will name it Coco if it’s chocolate like your baby. And If its more ginger Hazel, and if a boy, Bear.
Loved your video, thank you. We're welcoming a Labradoodle Mini into our home this December (all breeders have waitlists here in Australia due to COVID). Is yours a Labradoodle MINI, MEDIUM or STANDARD?
I’m getting mine tomorrow I will update you guys how it went! ❤❤ also she’s such a cutieee UPDATE: OMG I GOT HIM AND HE IS SUCH A NICE LITTLE BOY!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH HES SO CUTE AAHHH
We use a variety of treats - she's really enjoyed the training bits from Blue Buffalo, real bits of meat are great for training, and she loves the crunch of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Dogs are also den animals that like to stay in dark enclosed areas. Especially since she was so small in this video, putting her crate in a high traffic area will only make her overstimulated and stressed that she can’t check out all the noise that is happening outside of her crate. It’s best that she stays somewhere that isn’t far from where everyone is but is still calm and quiet
Rosemary, I think what works for some dogs may not work for others. Bailey has done great with having her crate in a more quiet area of the house that is all her own. She definitely enjoys taking a nap with us from time to time, but overall really likes having her own space to go to as well.
Obviously, you should train your puppy not to bite except for chewing on their toys. Puppies usually only really have a specific time period where they can be trained to work on their bite inhibition before they no longer are able to change the force of their biting and nipping. If your puppy is still in that time frame, I highly recommend that you work on training right away. Every time they bite/nip at you for any reason (trying to take a treat, trying to play with you, getting defensive or aggressive, etc.), immediately yelp and show signs of discomfort. This will help your pup understand that they’re biting too hard and need to control the force/pressure they apply onto your skin. A good tool to use as well is a softer toy that shares the same texture as blankets or carpets. During playtime, let them get rough with their chew toys and interactive toys but as soon as they come in contact with a softer toy, make sure that they pick them up with a gentler mouth and with care!
Puppy teeth are crazy sharp! We yelled super loud any time that she got too rough with us so that she would learn that it's not an acceptable behavior - just like their littermates or parents would do. It's definitely something you have to train.
Totally! We're so glad we stuck to our guns and let her do her thing - she was sleeping through the night and going into the crate without any crying super quickly!
Hi! We used potty bells - they were next to the door and we rang them as we took her our. She picked it up on the third day and didn't have any messes in the house after that.
She’s just the cutest little thing, and she’s so smart too. Only having her for a week and she knows so much.

Thank you for the support! She's a wonderful pup and has fit into our family perfectly!

I CAN'T. 3:34 - THAT FACE. Such a smart girl, already learning tricks!
That jump is her signature move. She still does it now that she's like four times the size and it's hysterical!
Thank you ... really good to know what are we up to when we adopt a puppy. And the training part was really helpful
Glad you enjoyed the video!

Thank you so much! We definitely aren't pro's so it helps that labradoodles are such smart dogs!

Loved your video, thank you. We're welcoming a Labradoodle Mini into our home this December (all breeders have waitlists here in Australia due to COVID). Is yours a Labradoodle MINI, MEDIUM or STANDARD?
Hi thanks so much. She's a medium. Hope you enjoy your new pup!
Aww he's so adorable.
Thank you!
Wow so cute! Is it the smallest size (mini)?
No she's considered a medium - she's now just under 40 pounds fully grown.
I’m getting mine tomorrow I will update you guys how it went! ❤❤ also she’s such a cutieee UPDATE: OMG I GOT HIM AND HE IS SUCH A NICE LITTLE BOY!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH HES SO CUTE AAHHH
Awe I remember watching the first videos that you guys made about her a couple months ago, now I just a labradoodle if my own!
That's so great! Congrats!
What type of treats do you use?
We use a variety of treats - she's really enjoyed the training bits from Blue Buffalo, real bits of meat are great for training, and she loves the crunch of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Problems with crates, are that dogs are pack animals and like to be with their pack mates always at least in the same room.
Dogs are also den animals that like to stay in dark enclosed areas. Especially since she was so small in this video, putting her crate in a high traffic area will only make her overstimulated and stressed that she can’t check out all the noise that is happening outside of her crate. Totally Niicki O! Bailey did great being in a dark, closed off area of the house where she could settle down.
Rosemary, I think what works for some dogs may not work for others. Bailey has done great with having her crate in a more quiet area of the house that is all her own. She definitely enjoys taking a nap with us from time to time, but overall really likes having her own space to go to as well.
Where did u get ur puppy bc im planning to get one next month( A Mini Labradoodle😂🥺)
Should I expect my puppy’s bites to draw blood? Or do you think it’s avoidable with training?
Obviously, you should train your puppy not to bite except for chewing on their toys. Puppies usually only really have a specific time period where they can be trained to work on their bite inhibition before they no longer are able to change the force of their biting and nipping. is this a phone or a camera, if it is what type is it? amazing video and BEAUTIFUL dog
Thank you! Most of our videos are filmed on the Canon G7 X Mark II, but some clips are on our iPhones.
I like Bailey
Thank you!
What’s your labradoodle favorite meal she’s quiet
Bailey has never met a food she didn't like lol. She particularly loves peanut butter, fruit, and anything crunchy.
dogs will do ANYTHING for liver or liver tablets.
the first night is hard,, but you have to do it ..... probably took 3 days
Totally! We're so glad we stuck to our guns and let her do her thing - she was sleeping through the night and going into the crate without any crying super quickly!
Is she mini or medium?
My dog breeds that kind of dog and I am training her to duck hunt
very cool!
What are Bailey’s parent’s (i.e. lab to poodle or labradoodle back to poodle)? Thanks!
Both of her parents are labradoodles - I believe she's somewhere around a 6th generation labradoodle.
Weird. She looks just like our Casper right down to the little white spot on the chest. !!
I WANT ONE
🎉
I've been trying to find a breeder... HELP...I want the male version of her!
Haha same
You haven’t shown how she’s doing with house training. Would like to know how you’re promoting that.
Hi! We used potty bells - they were next to the door and we rang them as we took her our. She picked it up on the third day and didn't have any messes in the house after that.
I WANT ONE TOOOOO
🎉
Does she have any health issues?
Currently no health issues!
She pooped in your living room...lol
