@Lacompote margerine but i would rather use coconut butter if you have any, the saturated fats inside of it will give it a cremier taste and more of a smooth texture, it's going to be unhealtier but again, when you make sweets that's the last thought you should have! :)

I have made this recipe numerous times. The first time I made it, it tasted AMAZING but it was very very sticky and I could barely cut it. The second time it was sticky again and so I melted it down and got it hotter. This helped a lot. If yours turns out sticky put it back in the pan and cook it at a higher heat for longer than before.

Add 3 tablespoons of cacao powder; Mix
Add 200g of sugar and 60g of corn starch; Mix
Place on low heat and mix
    Add a pinch of salt
    Stir in 10g of butter
Cook until mixture can be cleanly removed from the pan
Pour mixture into a prepared baking paper loaf tin and let cool
Once completely cooled, remove dessert from baking paper and cut into rectangles, then squares

So far I've tried this twice:
the first time i undercooked them and they remained semi liquid like taffy. chewy, good, but they flattened out in the fridge.
this second time I followed it more closely to the video but it never cooked to the point where it lifted from the pan, and once it cooled it became hard and crumbly.

I would love to try my hand at these, but I think that would be incredibly disrespectful to my father. He is such a hard working, determined, honest, simple man, and he made me and my mother a promise when I was born. He left in the search of the best milk in the entire world, and swore to not return until he has fulfilled his duty. Going to the store now to get the milk necessary for this recipe would dishonor all his values, everything he worked towards. But once he comes back, I can't wait to at least reward him with this simple dessert, for all his troubles. I believe in him
