I did this recipe and it was super easy, considering that i am not chef material at all💀 if you are vegan or allergic to milk, this works perfectly with almond milk! i also used potato starch instead of corn, and it worked as well! 🥰

I have made this recipe numerous times. The first time I made it, it tasted AMAZING but it was very very sticky and I could barely cut it. The second time it was sticky again and so I melted it down and got it hotter. This helped a lot. If yours turns out sticky put it back in the pan and cook it at a higher heat for longer than before.

In the US we have a dish called peanut butter delight, kind of similar has a two teaspoons of cocoa a whole stick of butter, 2 cups of sugar, one small can evaporated milk, cook that on medium heat when it boils cook for two minutes then add in two cups one minute oats 1 tea spoon vanilla and 1 cup peanut butter mix the entire time. Spoon onto aluminum foil and enjoy. It’s one of my favorite easy to make recipes
In Brazil we call it brigadeiro, it's very popular at parties. I usually use a heavier cream and I don't use the corn starch, it's common to roll it into small balls too if you prefer, you can use regular milk and cook until looks good, but it takes a little longer ^-^ (Sorry for bad English)

I made it, and watching how it peeled itself off the pan was something I'll never forget. It's delicious, but I'd say it's too sweet. And I like sweet everything. Maybe it's the kind I used or something, but it's wayyy to sweet. Will adjust that for the next time. Other than that, amazing! And easy

Can I suggest you dont mix the ingredients in the pan - it will take AGES... and using a metal whisk on a nice expensive Tefal non-stick pan will quickly ruin the pan too! Mix the ingredients in a jug with the whisk before pouring the mixture into the pan.
This reminds me of something that my aunt and uncle would bring back from Mexico when they went to visit relatives. They called it Mexican Chocolate and we ate it with a small wooden spoon!

Step 1) go to Walmart and buy a candy bar for a dollar
Make sure to scrape you teflon pan with a metal whisk for that added flavor

i tried this today and as long as you stir consistently (with a spatula) you should be good! once its on the heat, ditch the whisk, or it won’t be smooth
