I'm glad you had such a great lunch at the Ala Moana Food Court! I went to that shopping center when I was in Hawaii over 30 years ago. It's wonderful to see how much it has changed. It looks so nice! The food court looks like it has a lot of fun options to try. Best wishes for a good week ahead!
Guys, I love your foodie adventures! The food is crazy delicious looking! I know where to go when we travel to Hawaii now! Thanks so much! Have fun on your trip!
I went to Hawaii in 2008. I remember going to the Ala Moana Center and eating at California Pizza Kitchen. Everything in the food court looks very good. That garlic shrimp looks delicious. So does that chow fun. I love noodles.
Next time you head to the food court definitely try Lahina chicken company the roast pork is delicious but it's something you would eat and then you would need a nap.
I ate at an all you can eat Japanese restaurant at Ala Moana a few years ago and it was so good! I did not get a chance to see the food court so this was great to see!
This food court is definitely a must visit. So many changes have taken place at this shopping center. They opened up a brand new wing, which made it much bigger!
There are food courts everywhere here in Singapore, but the diversity at that shopping center is amazing! Those flat noodles are called Hor Fun; here in Singapore. Satoshi-san's spicy garlic shrimps look delicious! :D
forever drooling over the endless possibilities of life's simple pleasures. I think it's been years since I've stepped foot into a food court, so I can pretend that I am taking a 'trip' with you two. 😂😂 hope all is well with your mother and sister, shinichi! super glad to hear that your voyage was a safe one and I cant wait to see more of the videos you both have in store.
Hey guys! This is our first video of our Hawaii trip. Makai market is a gigantic food court at Ala Moana Shipping Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. It's the first place we visit when we go to the islands! So much food to choose from but I really needed some Orange Chicken. Satoshi's shrimp was pretty amazing too!
You two always make me hungry! LOL You should come to Brazil, you're going to like te exerience of very hot weather, beautiful beaches and different food. I watched your videos trying Brazilian things and you enjoyed them. You should come here to try our barbecue, feijoada, black beans, farofa and many, many other things.
konnichiwa tabieats!.. I love Japan for the amazing food and culture. I miss it. Yay! you got your orange chicken and chowfun fix! let's face it, there are things when you go home that you cant resist. It's just not the same eating it elsewhere. no matter even if panda is a chain or not. it's something we all grew up with in the islands. like spam and Vienna sausage, etc lol. You make me sooo homesick for the islands. can't wait to go home to Hawaii for a short vaca, then back to reality of the military. Aloha and Mahalo!
There's a special Panda Express in Pasadena, where you can put regular Panda Express dishes (i.e. orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, etc.) in burritos. The garlic shrimp looks wonderful. I'll have to try it one day.
I have not been to Hawaii for a few years. There was the food court on the ground floor near the center and the food hall at Shirokiya on its second floor. I understand that everything has changed.
At first I was wondering why Panda Express??? But as I watched you boys' vid, Panda Express in Hawaii is totally different from the main land, esp over here.
I'd have a hard time choosing between the orange chicken and the shrimp. Funny that I was discussing shrimp with my daughter-in-law last night (she's visiting, and we're cooking our favourite US and UK recipes for each other). My son won't eat shrimp (he won't eat most seafood, weird kid) but my daughter-in-law is thankfully a shrimp eating ally!
I was here 2weeks ago visiting ,y family! we went to ala moana literally almost every day! did you guys stop by shirokiya?! that was definitely my favorite place!!
Thanks! I(Shinichi) actually gained 7 kilos since starting youtube! So to be honest, it's difficult to stay slim running a food channel. A gym opens up in my neighborhood in the fall so you know I'll be there!
Lyn's Deli had the BEST hot pastrami and Patti's Chinese Kitchen was also great. It was located on the corner near the current Food Court. I'm surprised you didn't eat at the Poi Bowl though it probably has nothing to do with the former Aloha Poi Bowl which was on King Street near the Humane Society.
I think my favorite would have been the spicy garlic shrimp followed by the Ice Cream at the end to cool off lol. Great video as always guys, thumbs up.
theys a panda express all over the world even mililani has one but I lilke blazin steaks They even have salad with the steak and rice with it but theys a givoranis food truck in halawa hawaii but ala moana is a mall compare to pearlridge mall
Hawaii's local population is probably 40% Asian, or even more than that. Caucasians are the minority and I think we are the only state with that distinction. As far as tourists go, Japanese tourists are very abundant, which is why you see Japanese writing on signs. It's also very common for local people to be mixed, sometimes with five or more ethnicities.
F panda! It's not Chinese food. Why are you wasting your time and tastebuds? So, so much more wonderful food in Hawaii! ?????? WTF ????? You're so mich better than this. Still love you two!💞💞💞💞💞

OMG Ala Moana has gotten so big! Used to be Patti's Chinese Kitchen and the Woolworths food counter and that was about it.
Why do I always watch your videos when I’m hungry??? Looks so good!
I went to Hawaii in 2008. I remember going to the Ala Moana Center and eating at California Pizza Kitchen. Everything in the food court looks very good. That garlic shrimp looks delicious. So does that chow fun. I love noodles.
Oh yeah, Love California Pizza Kitchen too, expecially their Red Velvet Cake. haha
Everything looks great! Have fun in Hawaii!!
My dream place!!! I want to spend the rest of my days there! Your mum is adorable.
Love your content. Can't wait to see you traveling again (when safe of course). Komi ai pai cousins.
i remember panda express used to serve mustard condiment that goes well with orange chicken. i know it sounds weird but it was really good.
Next time you head to the food court definitely try Lahina chicken company the roast pork is delicious but it's something you would eat and then you would need a nap.

We do love the food courts over there too. We really must visit Singapore soon for some laksa and chicken rice.
+TabiEats Please do! There are other delicous food here too! ^^

Omg!!! The Filipino in me is quite jealous to see you have Jollibee in Hawaii!! We don't have one here in Melbourne!! I missed those Chicken Joys!!
Awesome 👏
Love that food court! It's our first stop after we leave the airport for a quick snack!
That's a pretty large food court indeed. Looks like you guys found something from all those choices.
We love the food courts in Bangkok. I always eat too much somtam in Thailand.
Nice place alamoana shopping center food court ....
We've stayed at the Hilton near there tiwce and never knew about this place. Thanks so much for posting this.
We will try it!!
Wow, I remember when Ala Moana was open air, and probably as big as that food court! So many changes.
I know right? Lots of changes at Ala Moana.
The food court was destroyed for me when Patti's closed down.
That is the most epic food court ever!!!
Plenty good places at the market/court there; is always one of the first stops when I visit family...
We would LOVE to visit Brazil one day.
yum. mouth watering.

Hello there! Yeah there is no way I can get rid of those cravings for food that I grew up with. It's embedded in me forever. Aloha!
There's a special Panda Express in Pasadena, where you can put regular Panda Express dishes (i.e. orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, etc.) in burritos.
The garlic shrimp looks wonderful. I'll have to try it one day.
Oh wow. How are they in burritos? Interesting!
Awesome video! Thanks for checking out our awesome food court here on Oahu!
LOVE that food court!
Alamoana Shopping Center is my MOST FAVORITE mall ever!!!! Although I prefer the food in Japan!!! :)

Can't wait to see more of your Hawaii trip!!
I have not been to Hawaii for a few years. There was the food court on the ground floor near the center and the food hall at Shirokiya on its second floor. I understand that everything has changed.
At first I was wondering why Panda Express??? But as I watched you boys' vid, Panda Express in Hawaii is totally different from the main land, esp over here.
miyubail it was the same as we have in California except for the chow fun.
yeah Panda Express isn't great in mainland U.S.
Woah, Satoshi's getting brave with his spice levels :D
Mmm...Yummy's!! I miss their Korean mixed plates.
i must eat jollibee and poi bowl when i visit hawaii again.take care guys.
I love Panda Express. We have one in my town in the mountains of West Virginia. Always made fresh and yummy!
That's looks so good!
I always want to eat after watching your videos! I want the shrimp!
Glad I'm eating along with them, lol
I'd have a hard time choosing between the orange chicken and the shrimp. Funny that I was discussing shrimp with my daughter-in-law last night (she's visiting, and we're cooking our favourite US and UK recipes for each other). My son won't eat shrimp (he won't eat most seafood, weird kid) but my daughter-in-law is thankfully a shrimp eating ally!
We always have a difficult time choosing what to eat here at this food court. Too many choices!
I didn't realize you were eating Panda express until halfway through.. lol I had some yesterday!
Next time you go to Makai Market you might want to try Lahaina chicken or go to Little Cafe Siam for some green papaya salad.
Oh yeah, I do love those two places.
I was here 2weeks ago visiting ,y family! we went to ala moana literally almost every day! did you guys stop by shirokiya?! that was definitely my favorite place!!
Do y’all ever dislike anything 😆😆😆😆😆 I guess I need to finish looking at all your videos I’m a newbie!

Your foods are so brown 😊
But that's looks so yamy 😋
Please visit the new Shirokiya food court! It's overwhelming at first but the food options are amazing! Not to mention beer garden! :)
Beer garden? Huh. Thanks, gonna check that out.
OH gosh, we just missed it on our visit. They opened up the day after we left! So sad!
Can't believe you went to that food court with all of those delicious choices, and you got Panda Express.
Oh my, you guys always make me so hungry xD
yay!
I love chow fun too! It's making me hungry
My great grandmother was known as the Chow Fun lady as she went door to door in Honolulu. I was told that she was the first to make chow fun noodles.
Looks so good. Btw You always eat many delicious food, but staying slim. Can you do video about your secret for slim?
Thanks! I(Shinichi) actually gained 7 kilos since starting youtube! So to be honest, it's difficult to stay slim running a food channel. A gym opens up in my neighborhood in the fall so you know I'll be there!
Hawaii is a great place.
I am always amazed how many Japanese are in Hawaii when we went there!!!!!
Hawaii is the number 1 destination for Japanese.

Makai Market at the Ala Moana Center is by far the best mall food court/food hall in all of the United States.
Really? How about the Las Vegas Outlets, have you tried them?
The shrimp plate did look healthier, but I must admit that I would've gone for the orange-chicken! kkk
Try Jollibee!!
Chinatown express is ALWAYS. My goto...I think you would have liked their food much better...I can eat there everyday ugh I miss home
I don’t think they have Chinatown express anymore.
Ooooooohhhhh!!!!! I saw Jolibeee Yay!!!!!!
Omfg! I love you guys! If only I can back sooner to my school HPU (Hawaii Pacific University) to see you guys! :D
We love you too! by the way, we were visiting family in Hawaii but we live in Tokyo. We do go back often though.
Did you guys also try the Japan Village Walk while in Ala Moana Center? in my opinion its even better than the normal food court! : )
Did you guys get to visit Shirokiya's village walk? It's next to the food court
Unfortunately we didn't get to. They opened one day after we left!
Yum yum!!!!
I just ate at Panda Express and I had the kung pow chicken and orange chicken and an egg roll,,we got the same thing that’s pretty funny 😄
Very Yummy! 1st
now i am hungry!!!!
Yes I love chow fun too.I like it when they burn it in the wok. Please tell me some good places in Honolulu Mahalo
LOVE Chow fun! We only went to one place this time. That video coming soon. gotta find a better place though.
You have to try the salt and vinegar chicken at Foodland.
I lived there for 3 years and ala moana is the best food court
I agree!! Panda Express Chow fun is not the best. But they are a Chinese food chain much like McDonalds.
Hmmm shrimp or chicken shrimp or chicken yeah get both 😋
I was there!
For some reason, foods in Hawaii are so much better and tastier.
I think my favorite would have been the spicy garlic shrimp followed by the Ice Cream at the end to cool off lol. Great video as always guys, thumbs up.
>.< I think the food from Panda Express is too heavy for me. I would feel very sick eating by myself!!
Same here. I usually go to Little Cafe Siam for some decent Thai food a few stalls down.
「河粉」(Ho Fan = Flat noodle) May be you can find it in Chinese food store. ;0)
Are the panda express egg rolls the same at all panda express or different in Hawaii?
The food looks yummy. Hate to admit but Panda Express is actually pretty darn good. Ha!
And if you go up to the 4th floor there is a Chinese restaurant called Jade Dynasty Seafood Restaurant that's really good.
こんにちは!美味しそう 楽しそう とってもいい顔してる✨ 元気貰った😃 ありがとう
ありがとうございます。ハッピーな気分になって頂けたら、本当に嬉しいです!
Boys Boys Boys…Panda Express?? At that amazing food court?? LOLOL
theys a panda express all over the world even mililani has one but I lilke blazin steaks They even have salad with the steak and rice with it but theys a givoranis food truck in halawa hawaii but ala moana is a mall compare to pearlridge mall
You guys made Panda Express appetizing..what the
People bash Americanized Chinese food I guess they think they’re way too sophisticated well I’d love it
I prefer Chinatown. 🍚🥡🥢
Do you guys like Jolly Bee?
👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😝
Panda Express is so American ha
i ate charleys
oh how was it there? We've never tried things from there.
So expensive there.
Panda express?... Really?!?!
I noticed a significant amount of asian people on the background. Do Hawaii have a strong asian community?
Hawaii's local population is probably 40% Asian, or even more than that. Caucasians are the minority and I think we are the only state with that distinction. As far as tourists go, Japanese tourists are very abundant, which is why you see Japanese writing on signs. Joy Grace Thanks for enlightening my curiosity
Like u guys, but u lost me eating Panda Express! That’s a big no no for a self claimed food vlogger
In their defense, it seems like the quality of Panda Express is a lot better in Hawaii
I never buy from Panda's nothing special about it .....
You should talk about the price i dislike your video for that i looking for information food price
F panda!
It's not Chinese food.
Why are you wasting your time and tastebuds?
So, so much more wonderful food in Hawaii!

You're so mich better than this.
Still love you two!💞💞💞💞💞
