  • Thought I would make a video on my first trial of networking the two Garmins together. Its just a basic how to and I am planning on making a detailed how to in the future once I get everything ironed out.

I have watched this one a couple times Mike as I am about to make the jump this spring to Garmin/Livescope and you explained a few options in understandable terms.
Any new info on the setup or learned info that would be of value, maybe a follow up video?

Good video, I’m just sitting here today mentally trying to figure out this same issue. From Brandon, mb

Your right though, maps are upsetting. But I love Garmin! Just gotta do your own auto charting…….

How does it work for mapping? If you network 2 units can you use the maps and navigation to the unit that doesn’t have any maps? Thanks

Yes. Actually my 106 has a crappy map so it uses the mapping from the 73

It’s an ECHO map. Ya know. Like a sonar echo….

Thanks for the video. Do you have a GMS 10 hub to network the units with Livescope?

No I dident have to use the hub. The garmin ultra 102sv has two network ports. One to accept the live scope and the other to link to a second screen.

@@ReelLifeWithMike That’s what I thought, but appreciate you confirming it! Hope you are enjoying the summer season!!

@@ReelLifeWithMike I'm glad I watched your video. I have a 93UHD and a 106UHD, GT56 Transducer and Livescope Plus. I had originally thought I would need the GMS 10 hub and purchased it BUT based on this sounds like I can plug the LVS34 into the 106, then run the 2nd network cord to the 93 and be able to see everything everywhere!? If so that's cool. :)
