The Journey Day 2 (Matheson Island to Gull Harbor)

The second day of the journey from the north basin of lake Winnipeg was another memorable trip.
Although we did not fish as much as we wanted to in a place we have never been, we thought we would rather take the nice weather and do some traveling. It was so nice to be back in some sort of civilization and the great food and drinks we had at ‪@gullharbourmarina‬ sure made the half way point that much more memorable.
The journey started as a fun trip Kali and I have been planning for some time but we decided to try to make it worth it by collecting money that will then be donated for a school youth program as well as youth fishing.
It was a great trip so far but stay tuned to day three......the final portion as well as I was able to catch my personal best Walleye.
