mam , as you said that one shouldnt drop one's college for pageants , so if i follow that i will be of almost 24 in completing my mbbs course because it takes 5 and half yrs to complete it. earlier i was thimking of getting enrolled in the medical college and then going for the pageant in the 2nd year when i will be of 20 yrs old . and morevor manushi also did the same can you bother to suggest me personally what should i do .......😔😔😔😔
See if you are 100% prepared for the pageant and you have worked hard on all the aspects then there is no harm in going for pageants but if you are uncertain then definitely you must have a back up option to back you in your career. What you can do is start working for Miss India from right now, while focussing on your academics and when you are 21-22 at that time give audition after 100% preparation.

Most of the wardrobe by renowned international designers are custom made for a standard height for people all across the globe. When girls win pageant they become part of many brand endorsments and have to do photoshoots and fashion shows for the sponsored brands, that wouldnt be possible with people who are shorter in height as when we compare Indian girls' height to other Latin American or European girls their standard height is aprrox 5'10 and their products are standard made in the same dimension hence height matters in pageant industry

Aap mehnat karte rahiye safalta jarur milegi aur man lijiye agar height ke wajah se aapka selection nai bhi hota hai to aapke pas Miss Earth, Miss Intercontinental aur petite pageants ke raaste fir bhi khule rahenge. There is no certainty about it since the cases are rising rapidly and the Miss World pageant is as well postponed to next year. You can register yourself online and wait for their screening process. Good luck! 😊

Just wanted to know that if someone is not comfortable in wearing a certain outfit by some brand or designer then do the organizers cooperate in such cases? as many girls come from not very liberal backgrounds.. And if someone is chosen as miss grand India then can she refuse to wear a swimsuit or do we have to inform the organisation beforehand? I hv seen many contestants from various countries who dont wear a swimsuit in the swimsuit round.. plz reply
Hey, Sandhya. This may look as offensive to the organization, sponsors and designer. There is no swimsuit round however. And they will choose you for Grand only if they find you best for the pageant. If you express it intially during interview they may not crown you for Grand.
Need not be worried as I said, compete when you are at your best version and in the best time (suppose for Miss Universe best time to go is when India has already place in top 5 twice or thrice and no Asian has won in atleast 3-5years). Good luck! 😊👍

No, no! It's not an eligibility criteria but is very important to judge a candidate. If you don't wish to don't do it right now but start designing and planning your social media feed six months before you audition for the pageant. Also at Miss India beauty pageant or even at the Miss World pageant there is a seperate sub-contest based on social media which is called the Multimedia Contest, so it does matter especially since last 4-5 years most of our winners are those who had good social media standing. Good luck! I wish you try to convince your father giving the same reason. And do it only when you think you are at your best at the best time! 😊👍

Hey, Annu. It's the Times Group to decide the designers. Usually it's organization's final call for the gown, but yes sometimes girls also give their recommendations and make alterations as their finale gown is customized. 😊
