Fellow opp here. I run the Rockford il games. "Rockford Pinball" your earnings are similar to what i see. Ive also been to your arcade and its great. Also keep an eye out on those rockford to mesa flights. We are only an hr down the street from enterium in chicago. Sometimes you can save $$
I wonder if the Jersey Jack reaches out to you. Let us know. If he doesn’t big mistake and super tone deaf. But I think it’s pretty clear they aren’t too interested in catering to operators. I mean Avatar has 6 flippers and a billion solenoids and holes everyone without ‘cliffys’ and boards and costs $12k and you can’t enjoy the light show and immersion that are the JJP advantage in an arcade. Seems like a game you route for a couple months, make a few grand, then add to a personal collection.
We had a guy at a launch party have an absolute melt down about a call the TD made. The guy went as far as to go get the arcade manager and say they need to throw the TD out. What was the call you ask? We were doing a ladder final on the launch game, the guy took last on a match, therefore was out. Right at the same time, the next highest qualifier had to leave for an emergency. The melt down guy said he should still be in even though the higher qualifier was guaranteed at least 4th overall. It was wild, and the melt down guy no longer comes to tournaments.
Completely agree about Rush Avengers and Venom! If newer players could learn those modes it would be so encouraging, but hey its good to keep learning! Thank you guys ❤❤❤❤
Rush has a lot of depth and nuance, but you can play it without really understanding much. Hit a few records, the Time Machine activates. Hit the Time Machine to start a mode…hit the colored shots to play the mode. That’s all you gotta know to have a good time.
Great show!! On X-Men what are the objectives? Shots look great but I can't tell what you're progressing through. Thanks again sharing your thoughts, look forward to the next episode.
I only played the pro once and the LE once so I mostly just tried to hit all of the shots and start a multiball. So I didn’t have time to do a deep dive into the code.
@@electricbatarcade ah yes two games is not a lot of time. From Jack's stream it seems like code is really bare bones at the moment. Hope they do something cool with it like Foo Fighters. Thanks!
Great show, just hit the subscribe button🤩 I’m sorry about the JJP Jack at 31mins in the show. Other than that, you two are a great team, really enjoyable content. Greetings from Denmark 🤗
Man that Jersey Jack story is so disappointing, especially coming from the name and face of the company. That must have been super awkward. His snarky defensiveness tells us he gets grilled about price all the time. The fact that JJP's lowest priced game is $12k tells you Jack Guarnieri doesn't give two 💩💩 about operators. Great show.
I think you may have miss interpreted Jack’s comment “call me and I’ll tell you how to run your business”. You took offence at that, but I think the point was he was offended by your comment suggesting what he needed to address in his business. One offending comment returned with another. That said, your comment that JJP games aren’t as cost effective as a Stern Pro for an operator must be taken as factual given you are an operator.
This is nothing you ever say to a customer you disagree with. Esp a repeat customer with lots of influence. Jack has done this before so this is a pattern of bad business
@@robertcecchini7913 cales remarks don’t seem like something that requires a snarky response or really any sort of response besides ‘thanks for letting us know, we should talk more offline to see how we can drive more location play on our machines’. Cale just stated a fact - JJP games don’t earn enough to justify their price on location. What is Cale supposed to do about that? In order to compete with a Stern Pro your Godfather LE has to make double what a Stern does. And JJP games aren’t great on location. It just doesn’t math out.

Thank you! And that is a great tip. Appreciate it.

Holy shit. That’s pretty rough
@@electricbatarcade It was ugly. Security told us the guy had been drinking pretty hard. Worst part is I always liked the guy until then.
