Hi, good project. I want to know, can we enter the WiFi credentials without disturbing the existing program in esp8266. I mean can we add or change the WiFi credential to an existing sketch of ESP8266. Please reply.

Hi When I want to connect Esp8266 to the wireless network with AT codes, I get MEM CHECK FAIL error on the serial port monitor screen. It is stated in some sources that esp8266 may be corrupted. Do you have experience in this regard? Or can you give me some advice? I wish you convenience in your work.
wi this procedure work, if i had already uploaded a my custom code to the esp8266, before doing this.. i.e 1. i uploaed to esp8266 via arduino uno, my costom code. 2. i follow these steps. .. so will this still work..

I'm getting no response. I was wondering if someone could clarify. Do you have the Arduino IDE board set as "Arduino Uno" when you upload the blank program? I assume so since you take it out of reset mode before uploading. To issue AT commands, you have the Arduino Uno in "reset" mode, but did you have to change to the "Generic ESP8266 Module" in the Arduino IDE?

RX and TX should be crossed. The transmitter (TX) of the ESP8266 should go to the receiver(RX) of the arduino and the RX of the ESP8266 should go to the TX of the arduino.

had similar problem, i checked my connection are firm or not after knowing they are firm.. i tried again, still got same error, then i unplugged from my laptop the USB, then plugged in again an uploaed the program to esp, error gone
RX and TX need to be connected in a crossed way. TX of the module to RX of Arduino and Rx of the module to TX of the Arduino

hey, I had an open network before(no password). So even after changing and giving a new password, it still remains as an open network even though it shows the password on typing the AT+CWSAP? command

Did exactly the same connection .. but AT commands not responding in Serial monitor

@@jaiemandi502 yes.. pin ground to resett on adruino . Then Tx to TX and RX to RX. From adruino to Esp-01. Sometimes need to restart adruino by pulling power en putting in back.. programmed esp-01 with AT Commands.. remove ground to reset and change TX to RX and vice versa. For me the TX amd RX port from arduino was unstable so i used Softwareserial.h. Library and used port 10 en 11 for tx and rx. After stable.. and everything working fine
I got some grabage values and it's not respond with AT commands
It gives me error instead of ok !

you can try Flash Firmware, I tried it and it worked fine
