SUGGESTION: Please continue to reproduce 1940 Ford truck parts. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful truck ever produced. I would love to build one in the future. It is also part of the Art Deco movement. Thanks for letting me share.

Sick truck. Ride height looks weird though. Need to raise the rear a little and drop the front and it would be perfect.
It was still being sorted out when we shot it. The owner said he couldn’t wait to get it home to correct the ride height. When he’s showing it he airs it out and it sits almost on the ground
I love the custom body kit of this car , it looks so unique with that grill in the front.

It’s not a daily and currently it’s doing the whole show circuit but it will be his wife’s fun vehicle. She’s the one that wanted a ‘40 Ford truck custom. Really cool 😎
Only thing that I would redo is the position of the pedals. The rest it’s spot on 💯
It’s a tight working space for sure. We talked about that and position was limited to space. Killer build and great guy
I was thinking “like the Ring Brothers fastbacks” after hearing LS swapped in a Ford. Then he said he was a fan of what the engine builder does for Ring Brothers. Not mad at that!

I don’t like the drive height maybe need a different offset for the front wheels so it can be driven lower. Doesn’t look right with the front higher than the back while driving. But all and all the truck is nice.

Might be a dumb question but could using a lighter carbon driveshaft vs a steel or aluminum reduce drivetrain loss?
I could see reducing the rotating mass helping with response, but I think most of the loss is in gearing.

clancy mclean if the owner likes the LS, that’s on them. I’m not mad at using an LS in a Ford. Mostly because I feel LS blocks transcend GM vehicles. They drop them in Nissans, Toyota’s, BMW’s and everything else. That being said, a crate coyote can be had for $6,000 and a supercharger bolted on for another $7,000 can get you to nearly 800hp without internal mods.
