All For One, surname Shigaraki, is the overarching antagonist of the My Hero Academia manga and anime series. He is the founder and benefactor of the League of Villains. Once Japan's most powerful villain, and All Might's arch-nemesis, his full identity is unknown. His ultimate goal is to steal his younger brother's Quirk, One For All, the only Quirk that can oppose him. He is the mentor of Tomura Shigaraki, having spent the young villain's life shaping him into a successor, and a vessel for his power in a plan to eventually conquer the world as a self-proclaimed "demon lord". He was imprisoned in Tartarus after his second defeat at All Might's hands until he escaped several months later, now single-mindedly focused on destroying the ninth wielder of One For All, Izuku Midoriya, to complete his century-long plan.

I love how each power has its set back. I have yet to see any god level powers like in marvel and DC. I mean besides Bakugo I haven't seen one besides maybe shoto that has to still train their powers to not mess themselves up.

OFA and AFO are very close to reaching that, and we can see occasional peaks coming from people like Endeavor of near god like feats (I.E a fully powered up Prominence Burn). The United States of Smash being what amounted to a serious punch by prime All Might just makes me scared shitless of what an All Might ultimate move that doesn't take his surroundings would look like.
honestly I really love how it sells the idea of the Quirk Singularity being something inescapable that WILL happen sooner or later and humans wont be able to catch up genetically to survive it, in one way or another it differentiates it from Marvel and DC
@@carlosrabock I have to watch the entire series again. I can't remember if it ever explains why All Might didn't use most of the other powers. Seem he only used the stockpile that made him Stronger, faster, and more durable. Is it because Deku uses strategy and intelligence more or because the powers All Might used were the ones he thought was what a hero needs. I'm caught up in the show and manga but I can't remember if they explained it.

Quirk-Destroying Drug Modification Upon analysis, the Doctor realized that the drug was made from someone's Quirk, and by focusing on the original effects of the Quirk, created a one-time-only use "Rewind Drug", which he left with a hidden cache of equipment exclusively for his master, along with a voice recording explaining its capabilities. Should it be used, all damage, even permanent, long-term damage they have previously received, would be reversed. However, there is no way to stop the effects of the drug, as such once used, the user's body will keep regressing until they eventually disappear. All For One was forced to use it during his battle against Endeavor, reverting the Villain back to his prime strength temporarily. When the user is forced to continuously exert themselves and use their Quirk(s) constantly, the effect of the drug is accelerated, as shown during All For One's battle with All Might, when the villain regressed from a young adult to a child at a much faster rate than normal. He eventually succumbed to the effects of the drug completely, becoming an infant, then a fetus, and finally an egg cell before disappearing from existence.
Unlike the Quirk-Destroying Drug, which exclusively targeted the Quirk Factor, the "Rewind Drug" targeted the physical body only while ignoring the Quirk Factor, which allowed All For One to keep all of his current stockpile of Quirks even as he regressed in age.
