It reminds me of my baby who passed not too long ago. I found him and he was so polite, loved all animals, and never barked. The only quirk was him running all over on walks/ drags. It was like flying a kite in a tornado whipping my arm back and forth. Within 12 months he had me trained and ditched the polite act. He learned how to bark from the neighbor dogs, started blowing puffs of air on my face when he wanted me to wake up, and loved teasing / playing w the cats. I didn't know I was capable of unconditional love or the pain of this kind of heartbreak. I don't think I can ever go through this pain again, and he set the bar so high that I know it would be nearly impossible to meet another like him. It's been a little over a year and nothing seems to help.
That's a pupper-mum who's spent a lot of time gazing lovingly at her dog, working out all the glorious perfect imperfections in her little man - his big head and his paws and how the whole looks just a little off and how absolutely wonderful that is. This lovely pup really did fall into the most beautiful family 😊

What fun this little guy is. What makes him even more special is that his mom gets almost everything he does. I just love watching foster fails. They are the best.
My boy would get so upset if anything changed without letting him know. If I left the vacuum out while he was asleep, he would be v upset when he discovered it. If neighbors moved their trashcan, he'd stop and keep pacing in front of it. He had so many quirks that I thought were goofy, but became his funniest traits.

(I had a pet pigeon after I found it on a street with wing damage. When she could hear wind, she voccalized her displeasure. Also, when she wanted to go to sleep at night she started the "woo woo woo" if I was in the room and not sitting or lying down.)

OMG, he's too cute!!! When he's at the top of the stairs, jumping & spinning around, is him wanting to play with you. My dogs do that all the time. So I throw their tennis valley as or stuffed animals, so they can run to go get them & bring them back to be thrown again, lol.

For a second I thought you were going to say "and we just couldn't keep fostering him" and what a relief when you said you were keeping him. He is a big goofy dog, but I can see how much you love him and he loves you back.
I don't know why you'd think that. If you are a viewer of channels like GeoBeats Animals and The Dodo, you would know that they always show happy-happy videos. They hardly ever have videos where people would say things like they couldn't keep fostering an animal because they are goofy or something.
