Really liked your video, the part on the town of Batchelor took me back to a few years ago when a friend of mine and I got to visit it and saw that old collapsed cabin too.....another thing of note is the area still has a large amount of Lilies in the summer, descendants of the flowers that were in the town back when the miners were there!
Mark, glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching. We really enjoyed exploring the Bachelor Loop area when we were on vacation in the town of Creede in Colorado. It really has a lot of history and is a very relaxing outdoor area. The only thing we didn't get to do was check out the Last Chance Mine. It was closed at the time due to Covid-19. We plan to check it out the next time we visit Creede.
It is a really cool place and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I would recommend some of the small restaurants in town. They are very reasonable and the people in Creede are really nice to the tourists. Enjoyed watching this. You know, I'm surprised we didnt cross paths that day. Im usually in Creede every July. My wife and i decided to truck on through the Bachelor Loop. In a 2whl drive full size truck. To me, it was some white knuckle driving. But very beautiful drive. We took a separate way down then you did. It was just as steep going down as it was going up. Can't wait to go again and take the route you did. Love it!
Big Whoopi, we took the main Bachelor Loop dirt roads that were not bad and or really difficult at all (as you can see from the video). It sounds like you took the other more difficult off-road section of the Bachelor Loop. We really enjoyed the experience of driving the Bachelor Loop and wanted to share our experience with everyone. It is a really great way to spend a few hours in the great outdoors. We drove it in the summer, but I hear that it's really something to see in the fall. We will almost certainly visit Creede again next summer and will try the more difficult off-road section of the Bachelor Loop. Eric...There is a Cemetary somewhere up around Bachelor Loop. Its a bit of a hike into it once you park. But i hear thats something to see. Yes, taking that treck is something im not sure id want to do in the winter time. Maybe on a ATV. Lol. Creede is my home away from home. Ive got family history there dating back to the late 30s early 40s. Such a beautiful area. Can't wait to go back!

Wow! My wife and I have traveled on some group adventures which really doesn't give us the time to stop and explore as we'd like to. This summer I'm going to make a trip out that way to enjoy a day in this area. Great video!!!! Thank you.
