Longry stayed at the Grand Hyatt, which is about a 10 minute walk to the start line. Additionally, she booked the Berlin Marathon with Marathon Tours & Travel. As a result, there was an entire package involved in her overnight housing. I hope this helps and good luck in running it next year. I'm sure you will have a great time. Sorry, I got mixed up. When Longry ran the Tokyo Marathon she stayed at the Tokyo Hilton Shinjuku, which is basically at the start line. However, she did also book this marathon with Marathon Tours & Travel. For alot of her overseas marathons, she typically uses Marathon Tours & Travel. Thanks again and have fun running.

The entire hike takes about 6 hours to do. We took a few breaks along the way to enjoy the views. It is possible to get it done faster, but it is worth it to slow down and take some breaks to view the awesome lakes and landscapes. If you really want to enjoy this hike, I would recommend camping there overnight. We didn't do this, but heard from everyone there that it is a great experience and alot of fun. I included the accident on Black Bear Pass to let people who have never done this activity that you have to be careful and alert at all times on some of these more advanced trails. Also I wanted to try and raise some additional funds for her (Suzi Rhodes) gofund me account. It is a really cool place and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I would recommend some of the small restaurants in town. They are very reasonable and the people in Creede are really nice to the tourists. Shashmarie, the tour was about 50 minutes. It has been a few years since Longry did the tour. At that time, you didn't need a reservation. However, I'm not sure that is the case today. I would recommend that you call them to find out for sure. Thanks for watching the video and keep exploring! 😎👍🇺🇸

I would say that if you start early and take it slow; just about anyone can do one of the three hikes. Just make sure to bring plenty of water if you do decide to do this hike. I think its a great hike and you will enjoy it. 😀

It took about 5 hours of hiking at a regular pace. If you start early in the morning, it is much more enjoyable because it is not so hot. Thanks for watching the video and I hope you check out the other videos on my channel.

No, I really don't. If you love the outdoors and sunshine, have plenty of water, and the proper hiking gear; you will be fine. 😀 Thanks for watching the video. I'm glad you liked it.

I think it is about an hour and twenty minutes to get from Montrose to Blue Lakes Trail. We rented a 4x4 car; which will handle the dirt road no problem. Just make sure whatever car you rent it can deal with some kinda rough dirt roads. Don't rent a normal car, as it will most likely get damaged driving to the Blue Lakes Trailhead. You can take the same trail back from the first lake (Lower Blue Lake) that you took to get there. Just make sure to bring plenty of water because it will be hot in July. Also wear sun protective clothing because the sun can get really strong in July. Lastly, I would recommend that you take your time and enjoy the hike. It would be a smart move to get there early in the morning, as it will take awhile to get to the Blue Lakes Trailhead. Have a great time hiking the Blue Lakes Trails and glad you enjoyed the video. Cassandra, as far as placed to stay, I would say that Telluride has alot of nice places. When we visted, we stayed at a condo near the downtown area that was listed on for rent by owner. Just keep in mind, when you stay in Telluride; it is expensive. As a result, nothing is cheap there. The walking sticks can be helpful and making hiking more enjoyable. So if you have them, they are worth it. However, if you don't; you can still really enjoy the hiking experience. If you just go to the first Blue Lake you should be fine. Just try to start early in the morning before it gets hot. I'm sure you guys will have a great time. Just try to give yourself time to get there; as the dirt road is not your normal dirt road that is flat. Enjoy and thanks for watching the video! 😎

Of the many trails that we have hiked in Colorado, this was one of the best. It is a great way to spend a weekend checking out the trails in this area. Our video just gives you an idea as to what to expect. I would recommend you check it out this summer or spring. I'm not sure what it is like in the winter months when it is colder. 😀
