Megan had a fantastic year last year, deserved all the honors that came her way. She's also out front (pun kind of intended) on social justice issues and got the better of Trump with her cup performance.
Alex is great, and has been noticed right from her beginning, when she was so young, and speedy, and deadly on goal --the team called her "Baby Horse", but I don't think anyone would call her that now. Teams from other lands, who may not know her name, do know her as "the pretty one", and that's always been an additional part of her appeal.
Fans of the squad know that Ertz and Sauerbrun, as well as Press, Heath and Lavelle, O'Hara and the rest are just as deserving, even if they aren't so public.
Respect from my heart..she proves that age is just a number#

Women’s Sports do not get paid same because of demand..period. Most people would rather spend their time and money watching the highest level of professional sports...so it’s up to women’s leagues to make them more entertaining somehow to gain more views which is how they gain more corporate sponsors money, it’s a pretty simple business model.
