Mr. Goshev - thank you for your detailed video! I have to replace the cooling fan / clean and reapply thermal paste on my old Aspire laptop and am using your video as a guide to perform the surgery. Yours is by far the best that I've come across. I appreciate that you identify the parts and cables during disassembly. You should teach full-time. Happy holidays and cheers from Canada!
Update: the job was successful! The new fan is in, new thermal paste and no screws leftover :). Core temperatures are 30+ degrees lower now and it no longer restarts itself, even under a heavy load. Thanks again, Yanko!
Hi there....i have same model...... had this laptop for almost 13 years now...no problems ...until now...best laptop in the world.....this morning i push power button nothing happens...battery is fully charged.... did the 30 seconds reset without battery nd holding power button.....still nothing......i opened it up with ur video but dont know what to look for......under the power button on the little circuit board for the button i saw residue between 2 of the circuit....like a white powder..... im cleaning it now......will let u know if that was the issue
@@LaptopDisassembly guess the residue on the circuit board was the cause ....after i cleaned it the laptop started up.....but i will keep the CMOS battery in mind next time if i get similar issue.....thanks
Thanks for the instructional video. I have a question! I have the same model device. My problem is that when I apply pressure somewhere near the touchpad, the screen turns off. what would be the reason? thank you for your help.
Well can be a cold solder someplace or just a bad connection. First try to reconnect the lcd cable. If that douse not solve the problem, try to power on without the upper cover and try to apply pressure so you can narrow the area.
You can try with a bigger tip, Or use a rubber pad between the screw and the screwdriver. If that douse not help, you can drill the hear of the screw and than replace it.
I have a question. This laptop is not charging. I think there is something wrong with the charger port (charger Jack I think it’s called). I try a new charger but it still didn’t work. The charging port wiggles and is unstable. It doesn’t charge. Could u point me out for a solution to this? Thanks
Hi my friend. do you know if the charger for this notebok is 60w or 90w? I have one that burned but without the vga and I want to replace the motherboard for one like the one in the video with vga, but I was in doubt if I would need to change the charger too. thanks!
What is the charger that you have now. Usually the charger for the older machines is 90W. All depend on the configuration, and mostly the CPU. Better to get a 90W one. Even if the machine needs a 65W one, the 90W will work better and produce less heat.
if you bend the screen a bit, douse the picture comes fine. This is usually a problem with the screen. Probably you put more pressure on the back where the connector of the lcd display is. If you can try with different screen. 99% is the screen.
Много добро видео, и видях къде ми е грешката с разглабянето на моя 5750, и при мен не работи тъча с копчетата след демонтажа на лентовото кабелче, явно е от него. Търся корпус за тоя модел(5750) този продава ли се :)
My number pad stopped working properly, so I might try taking off the keyboard and cleaning underneath it, now that I know I can pop it out without taking the rest of the laptop apart! Can't believe I've had it for almost 10 years now...

Remove CMOS battery and short the pins for few seconds to reset bios also.

@@LaptopDisassembly Do you know where the solders might affect the screen? Can you mark and show on the photo?
Well look around the lcd connector

On this model usually the cable on the charging port is getting broken. Check the cable and slider it back if needed.
Thanks
There's a grilled cover right next to the battery, do you know what it is?
The right one is the CPU fan grill, the left one is for and extra wifi or 3G card. It not all the models have it. The chassis is standard.

I destroyed half of my keyboard trying to take it out but in the it still worked when my laptop actually ran
Is The Graphics Card Embedded In The Motherboard
It is with Nvidia GT520M
Can i upgrade this WD hdd with ssd ?
Yes you can.

I know, you can install regular 2.5" SSD drive. It will work fine.
