How mobile incubators help save the lives of newborns

"Our child needed urgent transfer to the intensive care unit. The mobile incubator saved our son's life. Thanks to it, he is now beside us," - shares Maria, the mother.
UNFPA Ukraine, with the support of the Spanish government, provided thirty mobile incubators for newborns to medical institutions in 23 regions of Ukraine. These incubators provide necessary care for premature infants, help maintain the required temperature and humidity, and ensure the necessary oxygen level.
Thanks to mobile incubators, doctors can transport infants to other hospitals for medical assistance, transport them in ambulances, and timely deliver newborns to bomb shelters during shelling or air raid alerts.
