Budget Servo from NSDRC: A New Steering Servo for Sgt Rock!

- It's been a few months since Sgt Rock had blown out the steering servo and I've finally been able to order a new one. Thanks to my good buddy (Frank Rizzo on Social Media) who suggested that I try out the budget steering servo from NSDRC. It's direct power connect to the battery and capable of taking a whopping 16 volts, all for the awesome price of $65 at Amain hobbies!
I'm really excited about trying out the new servo out on the rocks, it looks like it'll be a real winner!

Always good to see a good new product get a chance it's going to get a workout keen to see how it performs and lasts I've gone to a cheaper brand aswell GX so far so good very interested how this one goes hooking straight up to the battery should give better consistent power instead of that power fade servo's have nice purchase Mike 👊

Budget and crawling doesn’t go together. I’ve learned that the hard way. Show me something new, stronger and better than the last.
Thanks for the comment Brian! I appreciate your viewpoint even though I might not agree with it. I wouldn't want to tell a new hobbyist that they needed to spend tons of money to build a good rig. I'm hoping that the NSDRC servo will be the best servo I could get in my price range!
I was thinking more in the range of $2. You can get 9g metal servos for that.
Yeah I have a Amazon 20kg servo I purchased years ago for about $18 that still is in use as a hi- low selector. It doesn’t have the grunt of the direct power but it did the job! Thanks for commenting DesertVox!
