@@NxSkunkFishing I bet your bff Brian is gonna be there. I'll be in the northern SD area to surf fish in San Onofre. Giant spot fin croakers there. Halibut too.
Yea Anthony, it was a battery that came with my kayak when I bought it years ago. The battery was for the fish finder of the kayak that came with the kayak as well. So not sure if that battery was used even for years by the previous owner before I got it. I need to test with a new battery to see how long the entire duration lasts. Still work in progress but was able to test proof of concept successfully.
Livewell looks cool dude! Probably works better than my Hobie livewell 😂. I still have to manually fill it before flipping the power on because it won't prime anymore
@@TreyFishing hey Trey i bought a v1 hobie livewell had the same issues Hope this helps get a 3/8 prime bulb online 7.99 and removed metal crimps Removed the check valve , add it to your circulation hose then you going to get a copper female 3/4 thread push that end on the the rubber prime bulb then screw or to your pump inside livewell you had prime your livewell while the pump is on works great for me the water dosnt fall out if the pump stops. Il do a video shorts on my channel of that helps
@@freshsaltyfries5078 I like DIY stuff as you can tell from all the stuff on my kayak. It's cheap, fun to research and learn how to do, and you make it the way you want it. Once a part is broken or fails, you know exactly how to fix it or replace the part.
i have a wilderness livewell that i can set to turn on every 15 minutes to save battery. its only a little battery but lasts me 3 days of fishing. look into some kind of timer system
Your bilge pump is bigger than you need. My Hobie Livewell battery looks about the same size as yours, but it will run 12+ hours without any problem. Downsize the bilge pump and it will run for hours.
Niceee. Add some rod holders and its complete 💯
You been fishing lately? It's hot as hell out there even on the kayak in the ocean.

Respect. That's a sweet livewell at a fraction of the cost.
*Cảm ơn~*
Thanks for watching bro and thanks for commenting. If I get any sweet ideas, I will share it with you guys no problem. If you have questions just ask.
Dude, nice Calico! I like your new live well; looks like you just need a new battery to run it

@playdirty714 I respect the DIY hustle!! Unfortunately my dad taught me to just pay someone else to do it for you 🤣

Thanks bro. I will look into that.
I saw it twice at that spot, their rod got dragged into water, I just can't understand...
There must be a whale living at that spot.
Nice livewell 😮
@@freshsaltyfries5078 Thanks bro. The testing will continue and I will trial and error some more.

Thanks it's an old battery. I think nearing the end of its life. See my response to OCOutdoorsman regarding the battery.
