JBL BASS PRO HUB IN PASSAT B6 / B7 fitted and sound check

New JBL Bass Pro Hub fitted in 2010 VW Passat B6 with Discover Media PQ Nav,sound recoding might not actually provide the quality of the subwoofer but I think is worth the money, great sound and doesn’t take space in the boot.

It sounds great and it really is recommended for cars with nice speakers but whitout proper Bass.

Have you seen the JBL Bass Pro Go? What are your thoughts about it?

That’s taking space in the boot, I wanted something practical, i have a JBL in the B6 Passat and in CC a Pioneer similar shape, both performance is ok. Again do not expect 1000w power, not gonna happen. Good value for the money.

Is it normal for the remote to stay lit even if the car is off

No, Your radio is probably still on.

If it stays lit then it’s probably still on take it to the car shop or do it the jerry rig way and hook it up to the fuel pump fuse

You should check your remote wire, mine is ignition live so only on when engine is started.

The JBL BASSPRO HUB is a great solution for castom speakers systems whose neutraly lacks low frequencys.

This is something that sounds very good, the under seat one can do as well but i had better sound out of the hub pro because is a bigger woofer in it.

How do you connect the subwoofer to the Mib2 media?

You can buy high to low converter and connect to front speakers output, i had it like that before. Now is taking signal from radio output front left and right because i retrofitted Dynaudio Sound System so even better sound. Replaced front focal and rear jbl to Dynaudio and its more clear the sound. I must admit the focal i had before was great as well for the budget.
