I work at a car audio store. My wife wanted a small, good sounding subwoofer in her Honda pilot. She saw this and had to have it! We go to the lake a lot and work in our yard often. This thing gets soooo much use! It sounds great in the car (I am a bass head and i love it) and my wife isn't over whelmed (she hates my subs in my car). We will probably buy another one for our other car. I highly recomend this dual function subwoofer/blue tooth speaker.

2 10s $89 a pop, a prefab box $50-$80, and a decent class D mono amp $299 costs about the same. You definitely won't have the best sounding lows but, it will still get loud and still significantly improve the low-end extension of most stock systems.

It might also help with the power output for the bass when not in the car since the lipo battery will not loose as much voltage as a NiMH .

Bought this and had it installed a few days ago in a BMW 328i. Sadly it really doesn't make much of a difference even at max settings for bass and volume. You can barely hear it. Still kind of cool I guess for the portability option, but I already own 2 JBL Subwoofers which are quite similar for taking on hikes or campfires, etc. Wish it was more powerful/larger.

What? That makes no sense. I mean people wire up sh*t wrong all the time. I have a hard time believing it makes no difference and you have to crank it to do so. Liar why I earth would you take your JBL sub box and drag it up the side of a hill (hiking)? I call bs, produce a picture or receipt or it is bs.

@@clangmile Of course it will work with factory subs that roll off badly after 50-60Hz. This thing plays down to 40Hz accounting for the transfer function for in-car use.

@@dj4monie I have a hard time believing this as well. I've got 2 Partybox 100's and was rocking them in my basement...BASEMENT and my daughter who was OUTSIDE came downstairs and said "Holy cow, I was wondering where all that sound was coming from OUTSIDE. For fun I tossed one in the trunk of my Nissan that already has a single Polk10" in a large box, with 100w rms to round out the factory system. It actually hit harder. A LOT harder than my single polk audio ported 10. These guys install for a living, they know what monster systems sound like, I doubt they would be impressed like this if it "made no difference". They are not noobs and far as I know don't peddle equipment on this channel so...

That is definitely cool. I think its geared for someone who wants a really nice bluetooth speaker and would like some more bass in a car (obviously they want these 2 things lol) but the user wants/needs the bluetooth speaker as a priority. Then the subwoofer added to someones stereo as a little extra bass for there car. To me thats the way this needs to be marketed. But regardless of all that stuff, this is a freakin' cool.
