We had a blast in Seattle! We originally planned to do a normal first impressions video, but there were too many foods to try, so it kind of turned into a giant food tour, haha. We absolutely loved the city and we loved being back in the US, even if our stay was way too short. Next week we'll have a video from Pike Place. Don't miss it! Also, let us know what you love about Seattle, what foods we missed, and which other American places we should visit in the future! Thanks for watching! 😊 - Brandon & Anja
One of the great thing's about Dicks is that they offer some of the highest wages in fast food (starting at $21-26 an hour), have an active college scholarship program for workers, childcare assistance and benefits for all employees. It used to be enough to pay your way through university completely, but it's a bit less now. And I love the fries!
That's really nice to hear! I worked in fast food as a teen. Wish I had that kind of wage back then. 😂 We loved Dick's! We didn't really have super high expectations, so we were pleasantly surprised when it ended up being as good as it was.
I ran into Sir Charles at El Gaucho back in the day. He was kinda PO’d they’d stopped serving food. I said we could go to Dick’s. He said, “Man, I don’t eat nothin’ called Dick!”
You know the funny thing is I live in Seattle but I always like watching these videos for people that don't live here. they always introduce me to something new every time I watch😂
Honestly, locals are often the majority of viewers for our videos! Haha. It's good for us, because they always provide a lot of great suggestions for future visits! 😁
You probably see things you would not even dream of watching unless you are into woke, Wako, liberal activities around UW and Pike Market. Have you ever seen one of these "finger-licking" food channels showing the Greater Seattle East Side?
Haha. Yes! That's what drew us over there. We had no idea the festival was even going on before we decided on Cafe Allegro. It was just a nice coincidence. It was a nice welcome to the city!
We emigrated to Vancouver back in 98 and regularly went down to Seattle. We've had some of the most monumentally mad nights in the Emerald city. Absolutely love Seattle.
Agreed! Easily some of the best fast food fries we'd ever had. So fast, so fresh, and just a super cool vibe. We loved it! We RARELY order extra of something if we're doing food tours, as we often have to take leftovers with us and lug them around. Here, we ordered a second burger and ate everything. 😂
Glad you did Salt & Straw over Molly Moons, I like both but I feel like S&S has way more creative and constantly cycling flavors. I feel like the best Seattle dogs are are from the street carts up in Capital Hill! They are perfect to grab during or after concerts!
Most people said we should have went to Molly Moon's! We hadn't even heard of it at the time, but S&S was pretty delicious, so no regrets. We really wanted to go out to a show while we were there. A band I like was there only a few days after we left. Bad timing! We would've love to try a late night Seattle dog from a cart.
Seattle has amazing food culture - Latin America has reached us up the coast (not only Mexican, you can find El Salvadoran, Venezuelan, Brazilian…) and tons of Asian food from across the pacific. I’d say you were very light on Asian influences here - sushi, pho, ramen and banh mi are almost as quintessentially Seattle as salmon and Dick’s. Gyros are big here too, and there’s a surprising amount of African food, especially Ethiopian.
We had sushi with the teriyaki, technically! We wanted to go out for proper sushi, but there's only so much you can fit into one video. We also had it in our previous Vancouver video, along with Filipino food, Chinese, and a few others. The food scene in Van was equally as awesome. We would love to come back and explore more of the food culture in the future. 😃
Great video! I'm glad you got to visit an Ivars while you were in Seattle. Ivar really overcame a lot in his childhood. His mom was starved to death by serial killer Linda Hazzard when he was only 3 yrs old. His dad continued to have him treated by her at the time so he was still being starved for a few years. Thankfully, he survived, and she was caught after other wealthy victims died under her care. Knowing he overcame all of that, built Ivars, and did so much for his community is inspiring!
Wow. Definitely didn't know about that! Very interesting, but equally sad. 🙁 Thanks for letting us know, and thanks for watching! I'm going to read up on that a bit now.
Thanks! We tried! We do have one more video where we ate at Pike Place for 24 hours. We searched online articles and Reddit, to try and find spots there that were "local approved" (even though we imagine most locals avoid Pike Place like the plague). We loved Belltown!
@@wherearewe-yt I don’t know what long time native Seattleites think, but my partner and I are transplants and been here a few years and we love going to Pike Place! Lots of good food and it’s a fun energy. We just try to avoid really busy summer days

Also a Seattle dog is traditionally is just cream cheese, green onions, and caramelized onions. The new trend is to add pickled jalapeños. The regular chowder from Ivars is the way to go.
Someone else mentioned it's more of a lunch thing as well, which means we did it right, I guess! Though someone else said it typically comes with lettuce, sometimes cabbage, and even a sesame sauce. I would love the addition of the pickled jalapeños, but Anja isn't a fan of spicy things.

13:30 Ivar's is known for it's "Acres of Clams" but you have to go to the main restaurant on the pier to get it. They also make delicious bacon-wrapped halibut and their crab cakes are pretty good too.
Great video! I’ve lived here for a few years now and you’ve reminded me of a few places I haven’t tried but need to especially Dick’s, the coconut cream pie, and the taco place you suggested. You went to all the best neighborhoods, too. I appreciate the back stories on each place. Great job!
@GeminiAroundTheWorld Thanks! We really tried to fit in and see and eat as much as we could in such a short time. Totally worth it. 👌 So many great spots in Seattle! Dick's was so good. Cheap, delicious, and ridiculously fast. Carmelo's was possibly our favorite food spot of the entire trip (those hom bow at Mee Som were probably #2 🤤). Also super affordable. A must visit if you're living in Seattle! Thanks so much for watching. 🍻
Dicks deluxe with a strawberry shake is my go to! I'm out of state now but do miss me the occasional greasy bag of Dicks 😆 Rainier is pronounced Ray-neer, and it is the water of my people. Pairs well with a Seattle dog, for mine I usually top the essential cream cheese + grilled onions with some sauerkraut, grainy mustard, and jalapenos. Also for teriyaki, the classic spots will serve you with a bed of rice, chicken, and a basic iceberg (sometimes shredded cabbage) salad with a mayo-sesame based dressing. When I lived downtown, my favorite spot for icecream was actually Gelatiamo, but DeLaurenti in Pike Place Market would sell pints in their little freezer by the sandwich counter (parma sandwich is my favorite). On Cap Hill my favorite spot for momos is the Annapurna Cafe, if you ever find yourselves back in town.
Yeah, I realized after we drank the beer that I said it wrong! Hahaha. That's interesting about the teriyaki. Maybe ours was the budget version, and that's why it was missing all that other stuff? Thanks for the suggestions! We won't be back for a while, as we're actually working out way towards SE Asia now. We would love to head back some day, though. We really enjoyed it!
I love that you picked places off the tourist track. You had a bunch of great food but I have to say the best tasting Seattle dogs are late at night when you're a bit drunk and just got out of a show. 😊 Also, for ice cream we have a bunch of great places. Molly Moons is popular but they don't make their own ice cream base. Salt and Straw is good but its a chain. Personally, I like Sweet Alchemy, Full Tilt, and Baiten.
@jenknowsstuff We tried! Haha. We can imagine a Seattle Dog being the perfect late night eat. We really wanted to go to a show while we were there, but with only three days to film, we didn't want to risk a hangover! 😂 You're actually the second person to mention Molly Moons. Somehow it never popped up in my searching for dessert spots! Sad we never got to try it. Next time!🍦
36:55 It's not a restaurant but there's a traditional dessert made in Washington state calle "Applets and Cotlets" similar to turkish delight. Apparently the manufacturer went defunct in 2021 but somehow you can still get them at local grocery stores.
37:18 The only food you guys missed that I can think of right now, is Pegasus Pizza, which is on Alki Point in West Seattle, across Elliott Bay from the downtown area you visited. Oh but apparently it moved to 4520 California Ave SW in West Seattle.
Thanks! We tried to do our research and include as much as we could. I feel like we got a good taste of the city, and we really loved it. We will definitely return some day to see more of the West Coast in general. 😃
Rayyyyyneeeeeerrrrrrrrrrbeeeeeeeeeeer! Nice work covering parts of the city most folks miss! Oh, Molly Moon's for ice cream, and Fuji Bakery and Lady Yum (macarons) are great for sweets.
Thanks for watching, and thanks for the recommendations! So many people have mentioned Molly Moon's. Somehow, it never came up in my searching! If we return to Seattle, we will have to check it out.
Lived near enough to Seattle for my whole life, the things you both said you liked I completely agree with, you made a WA native proud with these reviews lol.
Oooooh. Those look like some amazing suggestions! We'll have to hit up some of those next time. We loved it as well! Felt like the bars we used to frequent when we were living in Toronto. And the happy hour price was insane!
17:21 Teriyaki actually became popular in Seattle in the 1980's and sushi in the 1990's. There is a new Japanese chain in the Seattle area called "Sumo all you can eat sushi" which is great. It's only $30 per person as of the date of this comment and you order food by using your smart phone and the food is delivered to you by robots. Actual robots. The menu has many traditional Japanese favorites as well as some Americanized Japanese foods like sushi rolls.
Lol. I of course recognized so many spots, but then you ended at the Salt and Straw, which is directly across from the Rudy's barbershop where my girlfriend works. Even showed the Linda's Tavern mural (kittycorner) right before and it put a huge smile on my face. Been to both many times.
Thank you for showing Seattle! Which happens to be in my part of the world, the upper left of the US. They’re places that I haven’t heard of that make want to go try. Keep cranking out great content!
We're glad you enjoyed! We absolutely loved Seattle. Would highly recommend any of the places we visit...except for maybe the pie. It's good, but it's not $13 good. 😅
This is the first video I've seen from your channel, and within the first few seconds, I knew Brandon was Canadian! :D Love hearing my fellow Canadian's accents on YT!! Great video -- from a Canadian living in Seattle!
Hahaha. It's hard to hide! I'm always curious if Americans can tell. Most people never guess Anja is German. In the UK, they actually constantly mistake us both for being American. We've been called Yanks multiple times. Once they find out we're not, they change their tunes completely and become a lot nicer. 😂
I agree, don't do the Space Needle, buy more food. Lots of street food in Seattle. Those tacos looked amazing. And the price! They are $4.00 or more here and there is not much to them. Hi from Willamette Valley Oregon.
We very rarely pay for attractions like that, unless it's a "must do" type of situation. Those tacos were some of the best we've had. ESPECIALLY for that price! One of the more affordable things we ate, and super tasty. We wanted to make it to Oregon on this trip, but we just didn't have enough time. We will be back to explore more of the West coast some day, for sure! We loved it.
A lot of people also suggested jalapeños as well. I love spicy food, so I'd be down for either. Anja can't handle any sort of spice, so I'll have to get one for myself next time. 😂
As someone who was born in Seattle, you missed out on the Ivar's on the pier. Right next to the water fire department so you get to see all the cool boats. And the seagulls will come up to you and take a fry out of your hand. Such a cool experience.
I think that's the location we originally had marked, but we ended up going to the one in the video because it was so close to that OG Dicks Drive-In location. We wish we had more time to take our time and explore, but we only had three days - and filmed two videos in that time. We had an amazing time, though!
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm honestly surprised, but I'm pretty sure you're the first person to recommend a cafe. I thought everyone would be commenting, telling us their favorite coffee spots! Haha.
I am from and live adjacent still. The street fairs are in spring and summer. Farmer markets spring and summer sometimes year around. This vid is very accurate but touristy tho. They didn't mention the Seattle freeze, just ignore the the people asking for money and enjoy yourself.
We typically don't like to do touristy things, but things like seeing the Space Needle seem like a "must". We were only there for three nights, so it was tough to fit in everything. We'd like to return, and stay for longer so we can take our time.
We're glad you enjoyed them! We just noticed that we had external views for that Ptuj video today, and saw that there was a Slovenian article written about it recently. Too funny!
@@wherearewe-yt Wow! But your films are really worth mentioning among the others in my opinion - authenticity, enthusiasm, one can feel that the recommendations - or doubts - are frank and unpretentious. I enjoy watching even if I don't have a plan to visit the place 😄
@joannaseremak2489 Thanks! We really appreciate it. We always try to be honest with food reviews! It's unhelpful for anyone planning to visit the same locations if we just say everything is great, when it's not. At the same time, we do a lot of research beforehand to avoid going to bad spots. Most of the time, it works out. 😁
I am 3 hours east from Seattle. Lol. But we go to Seattle a lot. I still have yet to go to Pike market, but I am always at the university district (appointments).. 😂😂😂
Hahaha. I mean, I imagine that's accurate! Those tacos were significantly better than 90% of what you can get here in Europe though, so for us, it was heaven! Mexico is high on our list of future travel destinations. Anja has been, but I haven't. I want to have the real deal! 🇲🇽
its not that we did anything different with teriyaki here (even though we did... teriyaki in japan has no ginger and garlic its just sweet/soy) it was invented in seattle... teriyaki chicken is a seattle thing :) glad you enjoyed the city!
I've had cornbread muffins many times in the past. Same batter, different form. Tastes mostly the same, but doesn't get the same crisp as if it were prepared in a skillet!
Yeah, we never went to a Starbucks when we were there. They're literally available everywhere in the world. I don't know why people flock to them while in Seattle. Haha.
@wherearewe-yt for sure! Burnt bitter coffee. I'm sure it was probably better back in the day before it was mass produced haha. Looks like you guys had fun tho! I've always been glad I grew up right outside the city.
@fookum_ We absolutely loved it. We just wish we had more time! Great bars, great food, and just a beautiful city in general. We were doing a pet sit in Capitol Hill, in a really nice place with a fantastic view of the city. Overall, it was an amazing time.
In the blue cheese ice cream they don't actually add blue cheese. They find a homeless person and have them barefoot stomp on the ice cream. That way you get that real authentic blue cheese taste without the blue cheese. LOL! Just messin!
I'm so jealous. We have mostly been living and traveling around Europe the past few years (Anja is German). The Mexican food is mostly terrible (understandably, Mexico is pretty dang far). We hadn't had tacos like that on a long time. 😋
Yeah, we didn't make it there at all this trip, unfortunately! We had so many things we still wanted to do and see, and now after posting these Seattle videos, have had DOZENS of amazing looking recommendations. It makes us want to come back and re-visit even more.
Just looked at the photos. It looks amazing. Super sad we missed out on that one! What would have been an amazing choice for the video. We will try it the next time we're in Seattle, for sure!
BTW Seattle dog does not have cabbage. Teriyaki place you guys went is not the best, you guys should've tried Toshio's Teriyaki by Rainier Ave S. For the pie, the best one is called cakes of paradise. Dicks fries does not compare to McDonald's. McDonald's fries are conventional. Dicks fries are cut and made fresh. Washington is the largest producer of apples in the United States.
We wanted to go to Toshi's, but it was quite far from all the other locations, so it wasn't really possible this time. When we return, we will definitely try it! What is Cakes of Paradise?? We loved Dick's! The fries were so good. Definitely far exceeded our expectations. Especially considering how quick it all came out. 🍟 🍔
@wherearewe-yt $13 for a slice of pie is outrageous too. Guess all those Amazon employees can afford it. Hell, they pay $5000 per month rent on a 600 sq ft studio apartment so why not. That's why most of us were priced out of Seattle and had to flee to Tacoma or further. You guys missed quite a few places up here. Do you have an email I can write to? I'll get you a list.
I see your teriyaki didn't come with salad. The best places have salad. Also thats not a Seattle dog. a Seattle dog is a Kirkland Signature Polish sausage on a toasted Kirkland signature hoagie roll with grilled onions, cream cheese, and jalapenos to taste.
Someone mentioned that some versions come with salad, or cabbage. Maybe it's because we got the budget lunch version? 🤔 We will happily come back and eat another one. I want a late night, street side hotdog from a cart next time!
We were actually extremely excited to be in Seattle and we really loved it. It just doesn't feel natural to be jumping up and down like a maniac, like other youtubers might be doing it. It's very difficult to get rid of my resting bitchface when we film. What can I say, it's just part of me (Anja). 😂😊
Your state is beautiful! We actually bussed from Vancouver to Seattle. Such a nice drive! We would love to see more of Washington in the future. Hopefully, some day. 🤞
As first timers, we weren't too sure where to go..but looking at the photos, Nola looks awesome as well. We've had so many amazing suggestions, it makes us want to return to Seattle even more!
You embarrass me; I have lived in Seattle all my life, and of all the places you visited, I have only been to Dick's and Ivar's. Still haven't even had a Seattle Dog!
AS FAR AS I KNOW.... Seattle dog is caramelized onion's, cream cheese and peppers optional. Condiments are on all hot dogs period, personal choice no matter the place.
We've heard people in Chicago will say differently. Hahaha. A lot of people told us we should have gotten jalapenos on it, but Anja doesn't do spicy. Next time I'm going to get my own. It was so good...haha.
There is a Texaco on 180th in Kent 20 minutes away from Seattle. Unofficially called Mama Soo's you got get the spicy chicken. But how you order it is Spice Chicken ranchy ar rover they will set you up with some yaki. Spice chicken ranchy ar rover
The place we went for Seattle wasn't really the place we wanted to check out, but it was walking distance from where we were staying. We'd love to check out for proper teriyaki spots next time!
I'll take you on a food tour. I don't live there is work there is live 2 hours away. I did live and party there for about 7 years. I know all the spots
We're long gone from Seattle now, but we appreciate the offer! We hope to come back some day. We loved it there, and were barely able to scratch the surface during this trip.

@@wherearewe-yt For ice cream I'd suggest Sweet Alchemy, Baiten and Full Tilt. For Pastries, Fugi Bakery and Bakery Nouveau.
@@jenknowsstuff Thanks for the recommendations! Saving them on Google Maps. Just in case we return. 😎
36:55 It's not a restaurant but there's a traditional dessert made in Washington state calle "Applets and Cotlets" similar to turkish delight. Apparently the manufacturer went defunct in 2021 but somehow you can still get them at local grocery stores.
Very fun! As a Seattlite, will just say teriyaki is not really a drink food (not open late), but like a cheap weekday lunch
Interesting! Guess we did it right then? Haha. It was delicious!
37:18 The only food you guys missed that I can think of right now, is Pegasus Pizza, which is on Alki Point in West Seattle, across Elliott Bay from the downtown area you visited. Oh but apparently it moved to 4520 California Ave SW in West Seattle.
As a Seattleite this was a great vid!!! There’s so many more spots but you got in a lot of good ones/fun areas to visit.
Thanks! We tried to do our research and include as much as we could. I feel like we got a good taste of the city, and we really loved it. We will definitely return some day to see more of the West Coast in general. 😃
Honestly, pretty solid list of spots. I’d sub the tacos for un bien or paseo, but you did your research. Also, always get the deluxe.
Thanks for the recommendations! We'll have to check those spots out next time we visit.
And the Deluxe was far superior. 🍔
Thanks for saying that! 😁
I 100% agree at 1:20 ladybug espresso is top tier
We'll add it to the ever growing list of Seattle spots we need to check out next time!
Jacksons catfish corner, sisters and brothers, crawfish king ❤
I love screwdriver bar! ❤
We did our best to see and show as much as we could, even if we had never been before! We loved Seattle.
So many great spots!
Gelatiamo on 3rd & Union. Really good gelato and Occhi di Bue.
Thanks for the suggestion! Most others have been saying Molly Moons so far. It's nice to hear something new.🍦
This is the first video I've seen from your channel, and within the first few seconds, I knew Brandon was Canadian!
@@wherearewe-yt haha! Yes, I'm always sure to loudly say things like, "back in Canada, where I'm from..." when traveling 😆
One place I recommend is Hot Mama's Pizza on Pine in Capitol Hill! Late night is not complete without a fat slice and a soda!
Just looked it up, and it looks delicious! We'll have to check it out next time. 🍕
Everyone has their variations of the Seattle Dog, obviously the cream cheese but my adders are grilled onion's, mustard and Sriracha.
We had an amazing time, though!
local here, cupcake royal is a good desert/ cupcake place and rainer is pronounced rain-near btw
Starbucks coffee started before allegro and it was off the heels of Peet’s coffee in San Francisco
Thanks for the information!
You should try Red mill Burgers.
We actually never heard of Red Mill, but it looks pretty amazing as well. We will have to try it the next time we're in Seattle!
No worries about "sacriledge" with the hot dog, we're not Chicago. Glad you liked the Cream Cheese and peppers Seattle Dog!
We loved it! We haven't been to Chicago, but I guess we'll be careful with the condiments when we visit. 😂
Hangover Heaven used to be Beth's Cafe by Greenlake. Massive breakfasts!
One thing we didn't manage to do when we were there is have a big American breakfast. Such a shame! We love breakfast.
Lost Lake Cafe > Beths Cafe.
I do miss Hurricaine Cafe!
And the dog house
Shout out to Magus Books, favorite place during my undergrad
Great video! Next time you're here check out Bongos Cafe near Green Lake.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm honestly surprised, but I'm pretty sure you're the first person to recommend a cafe. I thought everyone would be commenting, telling us their favorite coffee spots! Haha.
The seattle dog is best with cream cheese, bbq sauce, white (raw) onions, bacon, and jalapenos.
I love jalapeños, but Anja is a wimp and can't handle any sort of spice. Next time I will get my own! Hahaha.
I think that the best Seattle dog is just a good hot dog, grilled onions, and cream cheese.
It honestly didn't even need any of the condiments. We did love having the peppers, in addition to the onions, though. So good.
I love your videos and their culinary aspects! Our trip to Maribor/Ptuj was based on your recomendations and we were not disappointed 😊☕🥘🥧🥂🥂🥰
as a seattleite, great job.
Thanks! We did our best.
Next time you guys do one of these you seriously need to try Fats Chicken & Waffles
We've never had proper chicken and waffles before, so that sounds amazing. 👌
@@wherearewe-yt I seriously thought I found Jesus there. Lol 😂
I am 3 hours east from Seattle. Lol. But we go to Seattle a lot. I still have yet to go to Pike market, but I am always at the university district (appointments).. 😂😂😂
It's totally worth checking out! A lot of great food over there. 😋
Born and raised 20 min from Tijuana MX 🙋🏽♀️... carmelos is sooooo mid like 4/10... BUT one of the better ones you can get in seattle.
Hahaha. I mean, I imagine that's accurate! Those tacos were significantly better than 90% of what you can get here in Europe though, so for us, it was heaven!
Mexico is high on our list of future travel destinations. Anja has been, but I haven't. I want to have the real deal! 🇲🇽
Ohhhhh nooooo ketchup on a hotdog!!! Great video though lol
Hahaha. Thanks! 🌭
Molly Moon for icecream !
We've had a lot of people suggest Molly Moon's! We will 100% try it the next time we're in Seattle. 😃
its not that we did anything different with teriyaki here (even though we did... teriyaki in japan has no ginger and garlic its just sweet/soy) it was invented in seattle... teriyaki chicken is a seattle thing :) glad you enjoyed the city!
We loved it there! And we will take teriyaki in any form. It was delicious.
Y'all loving Dick's fries is so wild to me! 😂 I feel like most of the time they're soggy and over salted, regardless of location
Hahaha. These weren't too salty! We loved them. They were certainly more on the floppy side, but in the best way possible. 😂
@@wherearewe-yt to be fair, I usually get them when I go, but they're just not my favorite!
I'm so hungry now lol Seattle is only 40 mins away lol
Time to jump in the car and go for a drive! Haha.
Always get the deluxe
Cornbread doesn't come in muffin papper!
I've had cornbread muffins many times in the past. Same batter, different form. Tastes mostly the same, but doesn't get the same crisp as if it were prepared in a skillet!
most places in seattle have better coffee than any starbucks
21:40 Yeah skip the pie if you come to Seattle.
In the blue cheese ice cream they don't actually add blue cheese. They find a homeless person and have them barefoot stomp on the ice cream. That way you get that real authentic blue cheese taste without the blue cheese. LOL! Just messin!
Yummyyyyy..🤢😂
Mexican is is huge in the pacific north west
I'm so jealous. We have mostly been living and traveling around Europe the past few years (Anja is German). The Mexican food is mostly terrible (understandably, Mexico is pretty dang far). We hadn't had tacos like that on a long time. 😋
@@wherearewe-yt it's a great treat when you can get them :)
I'm surprised you didn't go to China town?
Yeah, we didn't make it there at all this trip, unfortunately! We had so many things we still wanted to do and see, and now after posting these Seattle videos, have had DOZENS of amazing looking recommendations. It makes us want to come back and re-visit even more.
Whatever you do, DON'T FEED THE LOCALS!
Why? Is it like in Gremlins? Will they multiply all over the place?
Indeed. Multiplication is an issue.
@@mzimmerman2484 😂
At Dick's you should have gotten the Dick's Deluxe.
We did! We got it right after the first burger. Haha.
I'm from Seattle....it is bad....used to be good.
Starbucks sux....
Bad in which way? Sketchy? We definitely saw a bit of that when we were there, but coming from Vancouver it didn't seem so bad!
Hmmm…. shortys closed down permanently a while back so I’m confused…they must have new owners
Guess so! This was filmed back in June, but they're still open. We're glad we got to check it out. Totally our vibe.
WHAT? 😭 I used to go there all the time for laundry quarters
You have to try Biscuit Bitch. It’s so good.
$4 for one donut?!!! How is this place still in business?
I mean...they sell $13 slices of pie, so if people are willing to buy that, a $4 donut doesn't seem so expensive anymore. 😂
It's tom douglas
@@elizabethrush2102 still, it's greed.
We will happily come back and eat another one. I want a late night, street side hotdog from a cart next time!
You don’t sound excited to be in Seattle lol I lived here my whole life you should’ve came 15 years ago it was a lot better place vs now
We were actually extremely excited to be in Seattle and we really loved it. It just doesn't feel natural to be jumping up and down like a maniac, like other youtubers might be doing it. It's very difficult to get rid of my resting bitchface when we film. What can I say, it's just part of me (Anja). 😂😊
My state.. ✌️🌜🦋🎚
Your state is beautiful! We actually bussed from Vancouver to Seattle. Such a nice drive! We would love to see more of Washington in the future. Hopefully, some day. 🤞
im surprised i didnt see fent on a plate
I mean..I'm sure a select few of the Seattle population would consider that a must try, but I think we'll pass on that one! 🫠
BAD GO WITH LOVAL]
??
Nola dogs are better and a half a block away.
Hahaha. That's nuts! You need to get on it. The Seattle Dog was delicious. It would definitely be a great late night food after a few drinks. 🌭
Video kind of slow and boring
Yet you take the time to comment anyways. Kind of weird. Hahaha.
This posting is more about "woke, wako, liberal messages than junk food.
Given that there's literally no discussion of politics in this video, I think you should probably give it a re-watch, or get your head checked. 😂
@@wherearewe-yt I suggest you figure out where you are - before getting lost in something that is beyond your level of intellect.

The place we went for Seattle wasn't really the place we wanted to check out, but it was walking distance from where we were staying. We'd love to check out for proper teriyaki spots next time!
Mike's Chili Parlor in Ballard. Iconic building and chili. they do not have a website- don't be tricked.
@ritawhite7103 Totally looks like a place we would have visit! We will have to check it out next time we're in Seattle.
You forgot Paseo's
We've never even heard of it! Looks amazing, though. 😋
