One thing i think you may have missed about hiring staff. you have the Compatibility tab that you filter for. the 2 people you Hired both had Normal compatibility, which will affect your Cohesion with other staff in the team. I usually go for only the top level in compatibility as it greatly helps how fast the cohesion increases and how high it can also go, but this can also be a bit more expensive and take much longer to find the better staff as you'll be searching each month for ones that fit the bill.
Great point, I honestly completely forgot to even look at this, I probably still would have hired them anyway cause I don't have time for searching for months on end, but a great tip if you're trying to maximize productivity!
Not really, depends how much min maxing you're willing to go through. Yea it takes a lot of time, sometimes I've spent 6 months getting everyone I wanted for a team, but when you get +300% cohesion bonus it can pay off immediately if your making something like an OS with them
this is a great video, lots of great tips and tricks in here. Only thing with contracts is that regardless of the expected quality, contracts are a "pass/fail"... if you do 1 iteration of design and then program to the blue line, you've passed the contract. you never have to go past 1 iteration or the blue line or fix any bugs to pass the contract, regardless of expected quality.
Finally somebody making good tutorials with no shitty audio... Now I want a tutorial on Hardware and the Destribution service and Lawyers and Research because nobody good have made them yet.
Good tutorial, crazy that you spent 4 years on just contracts lol. I never bothered to get the stars up that high in the beginning. Usually I make sure I make 200k or more then i develop something :D
I'm not sure why your employees started those contracts when they only work on one task, but I like to accept then immediately pause contracts, just to make sure no one starts them until I'm ready.
I have to ask. Do you have a Bambu Lab 3D printer? The name you chose for the in game company is really close to a real company named "Bambu Lab". I recently bought one and just noticed how much the name looks the same. Now on topic. Loving the software inc videos, keep up the great work!
I get that, but this is designed as more of a tutorial type series for newer/intermediate players. I have an impossible mode playthrough if you're interested in seeing more of a challenge.

That level of tedium is too much.

Who needs to do work when a Chubby Panda video is out? A quick break for 50 minutes at 9:30am is perfectly acceptable
Hahaha exactly!

I never did a good run until this video. I actually thought this this was a year ago LOL.
Glad I could help!
@@ChubbyPandaGGM the fact that i still did not have a infinitely good run on 2 pc and 4 save is abnormal
That logo is the Abstergo logo from Assassins Creed lol

I wish I did! But no complete coincidence, I've heard of them though, so maybe subconsciously I thought it was a good name :D
i think thats the OG animus logo
No need to save any hardware points for 3D/Network as you will get additional points in 1985!
I didn't know that!
theres a company named bamboo labs
75% tax is common play for people who have more than 50 hours ingame base game is easy

That's the abstergo logo .....
contracts start when accepting, not when start working on it
That's not actually true, they start the second anyone actively starts work on it.
@@ChubbyPandaGGM it happened to me, when i accepted contracts and all were on vacation. contracts ran out without anyone being able to start ;)
I’m playing and am nearly 4 years in and no new companies have been founded
That's crazy. Are you sorting the list by the date the companies were founded?
@ nah I was sorting right, it took until mid 84
💻
0 times 30 is 0
