I think the problem is dr doom, if they replaced Kang with a variant of tony stark( played by RDJ) who has a certain relationship with Nathaniel Richards, only that this tony sees things differently than kang so he becomes him and replaces him to bring his peace upon the multiverse( bringing the “peace in our time” line back). This idea could’ve worked way better and RDJ would still be the big bad of this saga
It would be great to see Doom interact with Strange in MCU, which means we would see RDJ interact with Benedict Cumberbatch again. I kept forgetting that these two actors used to star as Sherlock Holmes.
Possible storyline: In the FF universe, the Winter Soldier kills Anthony Stark and his wife earlier in that timeline, shortly after Tony's birth. Tony is adopted by the Von Doom family and named Victor. He's raised as Doctor Doom in Latveria.
I always thought weird having Secret Wars with Kang and the big baddie instead of Dr Doom. This almost feels like Doom himself manipulated things behind scenes to frame Majors so this affront to the name of Doom wouldn't happen.
Die a hero and then become the villain? I think they miss heard a saying. The live long enough to become the villain was not the character route they wanted. Though Stark has done it before.

Over time, he feels betrayed and resentful that no one came looking for him, especially after he had that plan to put a shield around Earth. If he had done it his way, things might’ve been different! So, he changes his identity to Victor Von Doom, coming back not just for revenge but to “save” Earth on his own terms.

@@zachcrager2279 you're a hell of a'lot more reasonable and open minded than some of the nerds I have seen. My coworker and I were just talking about this the other night. He is a massive comic book nerd. Is it a cash grab? Hell yeah it is! But it's one that is going to work out huge.
Most of that is horribly convoluted. If they plan on turn even a portion of that into a movie or couple of movies or even a limited run show, they are going to need to pick out the basics and one or two storylines and simplify that. Just for example; RDJr’s Ironman returns, by because things got mess up in the Multiverse of Madness, he is a bit different. Now there is a new threat which needs to be dealt with and only he truly understands it, but it would require him to become an anti-hero. So he assumes an alter-ego cover and becomes Dr Doom. And over time, he gradually becomes fixated with an extreme solution and thus, a threat who needs to be stopped just as much as solving the problem, which is another problem from the fallout of the MVoM. In the end, DrD and the main universe’s Ironman are separated. DrD becomes a true separate character and is locked away in some alternate universe. And IM truly returns, but he decides to retire. That wraps up a lot, but would really need a tv season or two and a follow up movie to tell, because even that is incredibly convoluted and in need to be tweaked as to appease the crowed that are sticklers for canon (as if Marvel and DC super heroes comics ever had a canon beyond a story run, lol).
