Some youths in Kabwata Constituency have reported Former President EDGAR LUNGU to the police over remarks made when he attended church service on Sunday.
MIKE BANDA says Mr. LUNGU's continued call for early elections is indirectly inciting Zambians to rise against the current administration.
Speaking shortly after reporting the case at Kabwata police station, Mr. BANDA said youths are concerned with the kind of politics that the opposition are playing which might end up dividing the country.
And MATTHEWS MTONGA said youths want the former President to explain the necessity for an early election when there is no lack of leadership in the country.
Meanwhile, Patriotic Front Faction Information and Publicity Chairperson EMMANUEL MWAMBA said there was nothing wrong with the remarks by Mr. LUNGU as calls for early elections date back to the days of UNIP.
