SLOW JIGGING LARGE MOUTH NANNYGAI - Mackay to Percy island - Day 1

We fished our way from Mackay to Percy Island covering about 140km of ground that none of us had ever fished before! slow jigging is my preferred method of fishing and the fishing was hot on this day considering we had to find marks to fish on the way. finding the fish and new marks is made easy with the crazy amount of Garmin gear installed in the boat!

@@EmbraceTheCourse hey!!! No worries at all mate, I had a pretty tuff day to be honest but I did achieve what I set out to do, (Explore more around that area)
Got a nice feed of trout but no red fish wanted to touch an artificial.

@@Bluewater_session_fishing I think we both had the same idea for a trip. We really struggled on the jigs and I’ve heard a few other quality fisho’s had the same issues. We ended up cruising around finding new ground.

Yeah copy, I always find the day of a half moon and or new and full moon to be very very tuff days to fish. Also recently I have started to be able to read the sounder better maybe it’s the big screens helping my vision 😂 haha. Time spent looking for new spots pays off very quickly tho hey!
