I love Texas Roadhouse. Their chicken critters are so good. My favorite is the herb crusted grilled chicken. Squeeze some of the juice of the caramelized grilled lemon puts it over the top. 😋 Putting some of the onion petals on the salad would be so delish.

It's good to see you interacting with your dad, be thankful you have him and love him everyday. Your father reminds me of my grandfather which I no longer have and my dad passed away when I was 15 he was 37. Nice selection of food from Texas Roadhouse. That is certainly a loaded salad. Good to see George dig into the loaded salad and give it a 10. There is a Texas Roadhouse a few towns over from me. One day I will have to give them a try.

Hi Ginny. Oh girl I feel you. Dad's hearing is horrible. He refuses to wear hearing aids. Ugh. I'll sat something and he tries to repeat me and it's not even close sometimes. Sometimes I can't help but laugh. I love him to pieces. Lol With the salad blooper, I said salad and then he said salad and everytime we repeated it , it just sounded funny. Lol. I thought you all would get a kick out of it. I need to capture more of those moments and highlight them.

I’m 71 When I was a round 58 My elderly Dad at the time ( Told me to be quite until he finished talking then I could talk ) 😂😂 But no matter what he said to me I always responded yes sir and no sir. I never forgot his position in my life. But he never had a problem keeping me in line NO matter how old I was!!😂
the salads there are so good and as a side they give you a good portion! I always said quesadilla (queserdiller) to be funny but now when I got to order one I have to stop and think before I say it and I start laughing
It's funny how things stick like words or nicknames. Like all the fastfood places we had nicknames for. Sometimes right before we do a video I have to remind myself the right name not the nickname. Lol.

I actually stopped getting steak at Texas Roadhouse and started getting the Chicken Critters meal... with a salad and loaded steak fries for my sides! Their chicken strips are so good!!
That salad looked so yummy! I love salad and fried onions. Never had snake bites. When my oldest daughter was little, every time we went shopping she'd yell "PINK ONES!" My mom and I scoured the store forever looking for pink things. Long story short, she was trying to say PENGUINS 😂. Also Milky Mouse for Mickey Mouse and to this day I can not say AURORA as in Aurora Borealis. Lol Hugs and love ❤️
I called it *TRAVEL TONGUE * I used to say words not correct but as long as they sounds the same..say..for ex..instead of Ricky..I say Vicky Funny.my children understand me .coz they knew it ..I travel tongue most of the time.they just say... * Here's mom again*🤣
Yes, Dad is starting dementia. He's struggling a little for him to find the words he wants to say and short term memory is even shorter. But I truly think doing the videos and talking is helping keep the brain working.
