Cool old school Celica, I havent seen one like it in a long time. Also, you mentioned the battery powered cameras wouldn't have a problem when the power goes out, typically the internet goes out too because the modem/router will die, so I think it won't be able to transmit information to your phone also.

I've read a few times and tried figuring out a use case other than multiple people breaking into your house but for a baby monitor this would be great if you have multiple kids and you only want to specifically track the younger one to make sure they aren't getting into something.
It follows the first thing it picks up motion on. If you are concerned about multiple people your best best is to get a camera, or multiple cameras that will completely cover the area. Every camera that I have that pans and follows has the same issue.
I just ran out to the garage and plugged in the old one and the new one. The clicking sound is the filter that is used during nigh vision mode being moved on and off the lens. On the old version it clicks ever time the camera is powered on, on the new one it only clicks when it is powered on and needs night vision (when my garage lights are off). It will also click any time is has to switch from night vision to normal mode. When I turned off night vision mode and auto night vision mode, unplugged it, and then plugged it back in, it did not click. With night vision off, it wont ever make the clicking sound (but you give up IR night vision) I hope that answers your question.
I'm just starting to look into this. They really don't want to get a ring doorbell. But I have a bay window right near my front door and I want to get something that I can put in there that will take video if somebody comes to the door.
This would definitely work, just make sure you turn off the "night vision" (it will still work well), when night vision is turned on it uses IR LED's which will reflect off the glass window.

This is definitely the system I will be getting for my Idaho property. I assume that they can also store images/video on the home base since they also connect to that. Or will it notify every single detection it found (motion, person, etc)? 2. In the app event view, i saw the face setup with the name indicated, is it automatically checking through what faces it found in the SD card and we just need to name them?
4k will onmy work if your phone is compatible. It wont let you set it if it's not. It defaults to 1080p I havd a question about the recording. What actually gets recorded. Is it the wide angle, the 3x or both?
If u were to put that camera on a pole. And ur behind it and it's looking away from u. Do u have to walk in front of camera lenes for it to see u and then it moves with u? Or does it react to noise as well and flip around. Reason I ask I have a wall i want to put it on top of and want it to monitor both sides. Way to test would be to put it on a table in the middle of room and activate camera when ur behind it. Does it flip around to see u or just sits there till u go in front of it.
Does the S350 mount the same way as the older PnT model? I have one hanging upside down from my ceiling and hoping I can just swap it without buying a new 3rd party hanging mount.
Its not the same twist on bracket, but it does have a similar bracket so you can mount it upside down. You would have to change the bracket out to the new one, but it is included with the camera so you don't have to buy anything 3rd party.

I've gone through all the settings and turned the speaker off everywhere, but when I monitor the camera with the eufy security app I still hear audio through my phone. I just want to use this camera to monitor my dogs inside the house while at work and do not need any sound.

You can have it set to save to the card on the camera or the cloud.

The cable it comes with is 6ft. It’s a standard USB type C, so any USB type C cable will work.

Yes, in the app you can shutoff the record light. You can also faintly see the IR lights used for night vision, thoise can be shut off as well.

I just took a look at mine, with the camera pointed down from a shef 5 ft off the ground I can see the ground 2ft in front of the camera.

Yes, you can either disable notifications, or you can setup geolocation in the app and have it disable the camera when you're come.

If it’s loosing connection you either have a faulty camera or an issue with your router. I’ve got had any problems with any of mine.
