    Hello there, is there a way to import a solidworks design and draw the wave tank around it?

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it's similar to this.

    Sir, slope deformation with respect to water content can be analysed with ANSYS fluent.

      Yes it an be but might require some additional software patches like rocky dem or dynamic meshing technique.

    Sir I have a doubt in the analysis of heat sink in a closed domain. If a I change the conductivity of the heat sink can get changes in heat transfer coefficient...? is there any effect in heat transfer coefficient by changing thermal conductivity of solid....? plz clarify sir

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      convective heat transfer coefficient do not depends on the variation of thermal conductivity of solid. but the overall heat transfer coefficient(U) will get affected.

    sir, why did you put a cylinder inside the rectangle and made a hole?

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In ansys design modeller, it's one of the method to create the hole.

    why did you preserve tool bodies in Boolean operation?

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      this option will keep the tool body in the geometry otherwise it will delete the tool body.

    What is the difference between add frozen and add material?

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      add material will join two separate domains but "Add frozen" option will not mix two different domains .

      @mehdimahani8583 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      In frozen area are independent but in add area add to other area

    Why you needed to make the flow and the fluid as one part?

      for conformal mapping of mesh.
