you shoot where the guy gonna be it goes where you shoot and still have time to evade your shot while you are not far away you can try to shoot a hovers that is hugging you and they are so fast that they can still evade your cannon shot it's just ridiculous
That's not a machine gun problem, it's a hover problem. Machine guns get shot off easily when they are on slow accelerating wheels. The hovers ability to almost instantly accelerate to top speed makes them hard to shoot off. On hovers I can see the projectiles coming at me and can easily dodge from a standstill. The hovers actually have 2 perks, smoothness of aim and instant acceleration. Fast and smooth is a deadly combo.
Additionally the elevation hovers offer is a huge bonus as well, allows you to ignore the work someone put into armoring their weapons by shooting them from above and lets you fly over stuff like porc barrels and friendly drones that are a huge hazard to wheeled and tracked builds. With the hover changes weapons like nidhoggs which used to be quite good against hovers are completely useless because on tracks or omnis you can´t catch up to hovers and on wheels the hovers just ram over you and are out of range again before you can turn. Hovers are probably the worst mistake the devs ever made and keep the game locked in its current state of stagnation, but the clan wars whales and sealclubbers love them and they pay the bills, so I don´t see any chance they will ever be removed.
as a hover user with this latest patch i am not enjoying hovers, my builds now require 10 hovers to move and they do not accelerate fast anymore and icarus 7 is not smooth what so ever, its like you are on a boat. yes they were broken before not denying it. i feel like they should reduce the top speed to like 80-85km/h and slightly increase tonnage.
Also hover team m8 dont care u when having cannons on track build for example. They just strafe in front of your face take your hit and get out of your face again for you to take the enemy hits.
Protip: If you want to try to avoid facing the same players, then after the match ends wait about a minute and then search for a game. Works more often below 10kPS obviously
I tried that a few times, I get stuck in matchmaking for 5-6 minutes until those players are done with their match. Then thrown back into the game with those people. 9 out of 10 games I'm going up against people that are at least 2k powerscore or more higher.
Answered my question. It was the same when I played three years ago. Only fun games were the low point matches. In the mid it was half bots and usually a player that was way overpowered, and at the high levels it was definitely dominated by ptw, devs, and streamers.
you're all wrong, its not the hovers or the mgs that are op, its the ridiculous ways people have figured out you can mount weapons on hovers on omamori behind 50 layers of passthrough armor. hovers should be this fast and accelerate this fast..... but they shouldnt be able to tank mastodon hits like its nothing. u can say building like that is part of the skill of the game, but when theres an exhibition and everyone just copypastas the meta it kinda undermines that
Try some reverse cab builds. Put that Ermek on your backside so it takes more hits. I'm noticing you lose your back end but your front end is rarely touched. You know, for science. 😉

I've been a Mammoth user for years now and these guns have been on a downhill slope forever... Slow reload and subpar damage compared to the size of the actual gun. I have 2 mammoths upgraded for damage mass and spread and on an echo they can slap hard now at 11.5k but only in a team. Solo you just get banged because these are literally the biggest guns and all enemies are attracted to them... It feels unfair because it's always very predictable how things will go. And 1v1 vs hover this build will always lose.
Unrelated to vid question for anyone that knows, how does the ghost perk work with drones (fuses and grenadier)? Does the buff work when they are played or does it take effect only while the perk is active?
I would like to see a slight buff to reloading and rotation speed on most cannons. I don't like feeling the need to run a reload module everytime I want to play a cannon, but the games move too quick not to.
Lag has been horrible on console as well since the 2.0 update. It was fine day 1, but after a couple days of the release, rubber banding a lot. But no worries, when it goes cross platform by the end of the year, all our lag issues will be over... Right???
Yes the servers have gone to poo. Matches endlessly loading. Stuck to your spawn drop Rubber banding. General lag went up about a month ago now. It is bad, it's horribly common now.
The real problem is that high buildings have an advantage of shooting and armor over the lower ones, even spiders have a face problem to face with hover
Hey buddy nice video, the buff's to the cannon's was seriously needed, finally using my masties now lol, got mine on meat grinders and cohort cabin, but I agree with these machine guns, they are ruining the game, they need nerfing or their power consumption increased so they can't have as many on a building, specially punishers, that's my opinion
i just want play with a different builds but (mini and machine) guns are ruining the game with hover. hover need nerf for top speed(70km/h instead of 95km/h), and devs can add a new engine with a perk that can boost top speed of hovers. example (boost hovers top speed like golden eagle for tracks)

I feel like Omnis would be a better option for this set up yeah they weigh more but the maneuverability will be alot better since the build is so slow plus grizzly and the Goliath engine will greatly improve their damage resistance weather your moving or not.
omamori upset the balance a bit, making the mgs pretty damn beefy, which balances them against scorps, but man, cannons are just in a sorry state, particularly turret cannons. The omamori is effectively a nerf to cannons
Everyone's complaining about the hovers, but they're not always that great... When I use 4 (non-fused) of them to keep the PS down, they seem to get shot off quite easy. Now with the recent updates, when you lose 1 out of 4, the whole build becomes hard to control and won't stay stationary.
@@Asmeasmeasme Oh, and I found that a Dual Retcher build still takes down a hover build super easy. ;) Even when I use 3x Prometheus on a Quantum-cabin with a Power Unit, it doesn't take too long to immobilize a Hover-build. :)

Next you will start to face tank flamethrower bricks and complain about that too? You can be soooo cringe sometimes, and your words so biased, and you simply don't seem to care. You don't realize your words reach the masses of people watching, and they actually matter, so you cannot toss them out there lightly. TREEBURGERS 2 confirmed ?
Mastos realy need some love from devs,i have similar build one with mamoths other with mastos,and mamoths perform better(mamoths are not fused) overall mastos are way better after buff but meh,idk still not decent for relic weapon
Pretty sure the game was ruined with the 10% market tax and the fact that they are just allowing ramp builds to exist. Oh also the fact that you are not safe from sweaty clans no matter what ps you play at, going against relics below 5k. Game is heavily unbalanced, economy, especially on xbox is heavily busted (50k + for 1 relic) Game is also dead on xbox because they refuse to sort it out so we are lucky to get a game with more than 3 actual players.... after a 5 min wait.
I used mammoths for three years and sold them right before they buffed them, I quit crossout after that because market tax prevented me from getting them back, this game is just another money milk with mid graphics and a whole lot of toxic players man. It was a good game starting out until it got competitive.

I reinstalled and tried a cannon build on tracks. And uninstalled again. I'ts still the same shit. Team m8 hovers bocking your face way to much when shooting cannons. And they still useless cause of indeed all machine guns just focusing your cannons. I uninstalled again. Still the same shit as always. TIP for all: Be hover and machine gun or hover something or just dont play XD
Bro, maybe check your gameplay, decision making , positioning etc before blaming a specific meta. Often times you will put yourself in bad positions that wont allow you to fully use your build as it is intended. Also, the shots.. dont rush them, position yourself for the aftermath, use cover, cut escape routes instead of going in the middle and getting slapped by 3 builds at the same time. Use your minimap to see what your team is doing. At those ps with a semi-support build you cant put yourself at risk by going 1v1 1v2 etc. Those cannons are great , even greater with strategic play instead of relying on their power and ending up getting owned by agile constant damage builds.
I usually do great when not recording but i try to get good entertaining content when recording and doesn't always go as planned. Appreciate the tips I'll try to not make as many dumb decisions when recording footage
MG builds on wheels are actually pretty weak, its really only hovers that make them op, because they allow you to negate their main weakness; MGs are fragile. But hovers can armor them incredibly well, are very hard to hit and can just run away from shotgunners, the main counter to MGs.
@@pehenry Never really had a problem with them, just use stealth and engage them from the rear, once you have destroyed 1 or 2 off their weapons they don´t have enough dps anymore to be dangerous. They are also a really easy target for melee builds because they are so large.
It’s the hovers, not the MGs. That mixed with the wheel nerf, nerf to all ground builds with the corpse feature, and nerf to all medium cabs. The worst part is, they nerfed wheels to make them “feel more realistic” and then they buffed the shit out of the most unrealistic movement part in the game….
The devs keep creating all these dumb as lame game modes. Here's all they need to do. Create a "No Hovers" game mode and watch what happens. All the people who love hovers can play in the regular game mode and hover each other off. And the rest of us can get along.

If you shoot down the wheels/tracks/etc you'll get the same result, but nobody does that, because its a useless work compared to shooting down guns/generators

You're not the only one with lag issues lately. I don't know what it is, but since the patch it's been much laggier.
I figured it was an update thing. Sometimes a change is unaccounted got that causes it. Expect a patch in the coming weeks that addresses the issue

Probably applies when you use the weapon. Lots of perks (like the Cockpit) apply any bonuses to stuff like homing missiles when they're launched.

FR!!! Arbiters are op on literally every build. Helios get stripped almost instantly from halfway across the map

Add in game chat so we have a method of clear coms. Nobody uses pings, and you're guaranteed to be paired up with the weaker of two teams

The lance build was the best counter to these hovers but people cried 'till they got nerfed to the ground

If you shoot down the wheels/tracks/etc you'll get the same result, but nobody does that, because its a useless work compared to shooting down guns/generators
Imagine when u on tracks or wheels and cannot strafe at all or as quickly... Weapons come right off
@@ДмитрийСушканов Indeed with my cannon build on tracks I still experience the same shit. My cannons are gone way to fast. Even when they have armor on almost all sides. Hovers + something is still to OP. And I hate hovers. Crossout was way more fun when hovers did not exist.
