"Let's give them OP weapons, wait until they've all fused them, then nerf them." "But we've done that dozens of times, been doing it for years no less." "Doesn't matter, Crossout players aren't exactly smart, LOL."
First they’re garbage, now they’re OP. Then the devs will nerf them because everyone’s crying about it and then they’ll complain that the swarms are garbage again. As JB said there are a lot of counters, easiest being just driving up to them and shooting them…
You make a great point but you forget that you're talking to Crossout players. It was literally shown in the video with the second build but most players don't want to think that hard for some reason and would rather have everything conform to them rather than adapting to something new. istg that's one of the biggest issues in the game that nobody wants to acknowledge.
Swarms are strong, yes but people also need to adjust to the battleground. Be situationally aware and shoot them and if all else fails, invest in a spark and ruin the day of the 2-4 players on the other team using Swarms, TOWs, Nest, Pyres, Turrets, Drones, Mines, etc etc... No wait, that requires brains. I forgot! Instead let's call for a Nerf because adjusting is hard.
The worst part is that it's the vocal part of the community that scream and whine while those with functioning brains quietly sit there and enjoy the game. This often leads to Gaijin listening to the vocal part and ruining it for the quiet people who get angry and complain. We as a community are falling down a bottomless whole that we ourselves have dug.
People have 0 idea what being OP means these days😔 Swarms: Pros: Very high burst explosion damage, relatively fast missile projectile speed, good missile turning radius in flight, good weapon perk, counters bricks and slow meat grinder builds Cons: Countered by argus/flock/spark/speed, very low durability, easy for enemy to dodge it’s volleys from medium-long range, inability to shoot close-range to defend against enemies close to you, quite big hit-box, low ammo without ammo boxes, cannot armor/hide them very effectively, requires radar to be effective 9/10 times, hard to be *great* with them due to the skillful aiming mechanics Most players who are pleading for a nerf has never used them in a match with good players or has just never used them. They also cried for a TOW nerf when they made it VIABLE. The solution isn’t to nerf any weapon that gains popularity in a meta for being viable but to instead buff other weapons which are not being used often or at all. Please consider how much influence you have on the game JB because even if you feel a weapon is strong, you may cause a ripple effect that leads to even MORE players asking for a nerf on a balanced weapon like the swarm. Nerfing should not be the answer.
I 100% agree with you I never asked for a nerf or called these OP if you watched the whole video. Looking at my comments seems that most players still can't use these i just got better with them as i said i would practice with them the whole week for this video and regardless of what build i used i still did tons of damage. saying something might need a small adjustment is not calling for a nerf. I've seen players already asking for a nerf on these before this video which is just dumb. I explained everything in my other video about the blueprint changes because the poe2 devs explained it perfectly why nerfs are not good but just level the playing field and make unpopular weapons perform better.
More people need to realize this. Gaijin shouldn't be nerfing every weapon but should always provide an answer to said weapon. If the best counters are not enough then buff them till they are and no more. That way, every weapon is viable and no single weapon will be spammed as there would always be a counter to everything.
@@justsomeguyinouterspace8623 yup, I agree. Right now we have a lot of good, strong weapons and combos. I have said it many times, nerfing weapons is just not smart. I honestly don't get players anymore, everything needs to go perfect for them otherwise they scream nerf lol. When I play something that's not amazing, and I see scorpion Jackie builds, I just adjust my play style and keep an eye out for the build.
@@JBRider Exactly. In the video, there are several moments where you're helpless because someone comes too close. That's fair - You traded the ability to defend yourself close up at all for big PP damage at range. If Gaijin nerfs them (they probably will alas) then they'll be forgotten. Players who cry for nerfs simply don't want to change and that's a surefire way to not be able to enjoy the game and ruin it for others.
Spark is the hard counter, get close enough and the Swarms destroy themselves when they fire as the rockets detonate in the launcher as Spark insta kills them.
JB is unironically really good with the swarms for no apparent reason. Like genuinely really fucking good I don’t understand. Maybe the incinerator brain or he’s just the best
700 points for an assist that had 3200 damage and 1000 for a destruction with same 3200 damage, I think with these two data points you can make a math formula to find out approximate damage done after checking assists and destructions.
I don't' think the timer should go, but it should be longer or at least we should be given the option to set how what length matches we want to be in. But yeah, 100% we need more maps.
It's not really broken. This video alone provides so many counters - fast builds, constantly moving, spark, closing distance and close range weapons. If people just stopped to think then they'd realize that there are a million things you can do to counter anything. Most of this stuff doesn't even require you to be skilled at the game, just use logical thinking. But the meta to meta thing is because Gaijin handles this type of stuff poorly and just nerfs one weapon and buffs the everloving sh*t out of another. If they instead provided counter weapons or buffed existing counters to mac=tch then it would be a massive improvement. Marvel Rivals is a recent example where they followed the rule of "If everyone is OP, then no one is" and it works most of the time.
People use op weapons because the issue of lack skills on any game I prefer be the underdog because when you kill those meta boy man is a trauma for then
lol if you think swarm is lack of skill you dont understand something swarms are one of the hardest to aim weapons in the game, especially in movement, the swarm is a high skill high reward weapon
umm definitely too strong, they will be tuning them back. They went with the right move on damage falloff\from center of aoe but they probably should have reduced the damage since they made it much easier to apply damage...
hmmm strange. Try these tips: aim slightly behind the enemy and try to predict and lead your shots you'll have to practice with them, it took me a week of playing them every day to get used to them.
Nobody is countering them cause all the counters suck ass. Flock: doesn't do much, but is your best option. Argus: you need like three to fully counter them, they shoot too slowly. Flash/Spark: Extremely high energy consumption and ps for just countering swarms. There are no playable builds currently that make use of those.

Your always thinking abt us lol. This is already enough 🥰
Can you test if the new stick mine layer thingy works with the hadron? Because it’s regarded as a drone as far as I know.

Use this, the hermes for speed, and the dino legs to jump. Just go full armored core fr.
Also the Warhammer build is soooo cold. Immaculate.
@@hexaldome7074 looks sick af almost real
i wish we got battle pass weapons in pairs instead of one, now i cant try these builds out with one swam😭
What can i say?
I still have that one blockchain i got years ago.
Still havent used it. Cant sell it. It just sits there.
Just like your swarm will
@ristorantanen5769 the swarm actually pairs well with many weapons, unlike the blockchains. Especially since you can hide it in your build
@JBRider
You may be right with the swarm
But tell what i should do with my one blockchain? 🤣
Buy two more and try em out?
@@JBRider don't need to hide it when you are flying eraticalky in a heli firing out these and trombones

Thnx 4 The show n tell.
Quite proude of my little build there.
If you want to see the amount of damage you do, just add the Damage Tracker, and count how many times the flares go off (it fills up at 9999 damage).
700 points for an assist that had 3200 damage and 1000 for a destruction with same 3200 damage, I think with these two data points you can make a math formula to find out approximate damage done after checking assists and destructions.
Spread stability decreased your spread when you fire(like for imps they’re spread increases a ton while shooting, and that reduces that)
Thanks, so what's the difference between the upgrade that just reduces spread? to me it sounds like they do the same thing
Crossout needs some new maps desperately, and the timer needs to be removed.
Fuck no, timer won me so many games vs whales who can't strategize it stays.
@superxdale9715 🤣
I don't' think the timer should go, but it should be longer or at least we should be given the option to set how what length matches we want to be in. But yeah, 100% we need more maps.
I'm so happy more of my builds have a cloak😂😂
It’s sad we go from raijin meta straight into swams meta. I’d really like a break from the broken.

@lolerlolerson right that why many is using now
@@Neverfadeaway772 Well, you see, some people have skill, you see
theres probably a LOT less swarms than brainrot meta
My weakness are the hovers.. You get crippled so easy. I have not come up with a wheeled build I like yet.
If they nerf this i hope its not in terms of aiming or the projectiles spread/speed and they only nerf damage.
Swarms need a nerf especially how good you can hide and armor them.
Destructors also need a nerf. Arguably more than swarms in my opinion..
Lol, swarms are crazy op, i got 6 kills in a match today with em, first time and i am LOVING EM
I be soloing entire teams with catalina jackie fr
These devs need to learn to do minor tweaks, that's a problem I see a lot.
KEEEP turning JB.. you have better accelleration. You keep gaining distance everytime you turned on him.
BEST VIDEO EVER!! Shame that they will be neft
Great video buddy, I'm enjoying them aswell lol

Nice video JB! I said ill return!
Glad to see you back
They could durability nerf them
Am I doing something wrong? I keep seeing videos of Swarms doing high damage. When I use them, I get between 100-200 damage consistently.
hmmm strange. Try these tips: aim slightly behind the enemy and try to predict and lead your shots you'll have to practice with them, it took me a week of playing them every day to get used to them.
@JBRider Thanks
try my swarm podracer man secret tech trust also spread stability is the time till your weapon spray goes nuts(aimpoint gets bigger)
BAD KORI lol
nerf-out
I mean swarm is pritty useless anyways al it takes is a single player using a single spark
WHY TH ARE LUCIFERS 14K?!
They are needed for the new Relic weapon
swarms need a longer reload and lower blast radius
Lol gas gen attached to inferno lol, might as well do the praise ala, lalalala n run on in n det lol🗑️
The swarm is definitely OP and meta atm.
lol must be a PS thing cause they get shit kicked at 9k PS........
